I looked at this with SonicR template and can see no signal. Being a newbie to this system I am probably missing it though. Can you explain please?

i try to find my confluence between sonic r and icce (bemac) --

i discovered some things ---

i use to filter my trades the tape in level1+2.

exits are more important for me as entrys ...

the market works in battlezones ...

try to create a story and it will open an door

yess indeed - i undertsand u chart completly ...

i see the weakness in h4 - before i wills ee 0.99478 -

i´m always open minded - so lets see what the market will do on this point -

i find my edge to enter the trades - believe the profits are in the exits ...

so on nice chart ... h4 shows possible short too ... so now i play m30 -

next lesson!!!!!!!!!

if i do my entry on m30 - i never switch to other timeframe - i look for exits on the same charts.

i know a lot of sonicer who switching the charts and try to find that what he expect -

reagrds to to master contributer and tradeproffessor TAH aka TraderAtHome

I think I might be overtrading and it is causing me to lose.

Can you tell me how many trades per day/week you are taking with Sonic R?

I think you are mistaken to place me in such company, I'm fairly new to Sonic, only a month or so.

Having said that I'll tell you I'm currently in 2 Sonic trades, audusd and usdcad, entered last night. I have not settled into a solid Sonic pattern but 5 to 20 trades a week is what I'd expect, it will vary quite a lot week to week

You cannot trade Sonic blindly. We all need to do our chartwork to determine price direction as we see it. Study your charts, find support/resistance, supply/demand, Fib levels, trendlines, read the news to get a sense of what's around the corner. Without a broad view Sonic, or any other system will fail. What is most appealing about Sonic for me is fact that it REQUIRES you to do the work, trading is no fun blindly following signals you don't fully understand.

You need to plan your trades - entry points,stops, targets etc. and then wait for price to come to you. What is most important with targets is that you have to ask yourself if there is any room to take a trade in that direction, meaning you are not buying into supply or selling into demand. Price always thinks ahead of you and if you dont have a plan A or B for whatever scenario might arise then you cant trade the markets properly.

If you look at my chart thats how I saw the market today. Clearly defined entry point, stops, targets etc.

It also helps to keep a picture of your trades with comments on them for future references, like I have done on my chart.

As to reply to your question as to how many trades per week. When I see a setup that fits my trading plan, I´ll take it otherwise not. Be picky.

Nice analysis, I like your simple and straight forward approach to looking at the market.
You don't over complicate things and make it straight forward for everyone to understand what you are looking at.

Keep posting your trade setups I, for one, find them very helpful.

Market comment; eurusd is going up while commodity pairs are moving the other way, this is not the normal correlation. eurusd Going up generally means markets are comfortable with risk and risk buys commodity currencies. This is meant as nothing more than a note of caution. I would expect either eurusd to head back down, or audusd to head back up, the market is dithering and can't decide between risk on or risk off.

Actually, yes. Take a look at H4. Price is at key level (1.0530-1.0540) area. If it breaks down thru there, yes, it could be a good short trade.

EU: Entered short as shown. Good PA wave and Dragon angled down when entry was set late in US session. It later triggered. If you look on H4 you will see the highs last week were the lows back on June 28, and the highs in this last session represent a failure at even lower resistance (lower highs). The failure was a drive up and quickly back down. And if you check, you will see the highest volumes are at the highs of the drive up, so logically that would represent taking advantage of the highs to close longs and convert back to shorts.

Hansma is the Supply and Demand expert here. You should be directing the question to him.

I'll tell you what I see, though. On the Daily chart PA has returned up to a S&R area, my "quesstimated" center being shown by the red line on my chart. Right at the highs, if you look closely at the candles, you will see two adjacent candles with long wicks. The first has the wick up. The second has the wick down. This order is not significant, but what is significant is the wide swing in price these two candles represent, possibly indicating the market took advantage of the highs and started converting positions, in this case from longs back to shorts. And H4 is turning bearish.
