I agree, my stoploss is wrong and I apologise for that. Geoff set me straight. However. Show me your valid stoch signal! I don't think you can. Below 20 and red macd

that wasn't the case here
we had a cross above 50 before macd went below 0 for 2 bars
but if I'm not totally wrong, Paulus would have seen this as a valid setup, because when macd changed from maroon to red the stoch was below 50

even if you would ignore the "below 20" rule there will be for sure brokers where you didn't see the maroon->red transition because of the different datafeeds.

Your stoch and Macd seem to be in the correct place, but that is not what I was trying to say, your stop loss should have been at low of hammer candle 2 candles before your entry at1.2248-2pips(2246) this was the nearest swing low before youe entry, this would have meant your tp was less, however on my chart(alpari ok) my entry came at 11.28am , your entry was ten minuites later than mine or Fame Of Me`s. Hope this helps

I agree completely, my SL is wrong. I had interpreted Paulus wrong there and I apologise for my outburst. However, according to my chart (Alpari UK), my entry didn't come before 11.39, before that all macd candles was darkred. So as far as I can se, my entry was perfect, however my SL and therefore also my TP was way off. I wonder why my macd was 10 minutes later than yours and if I may say so, I think my entry would have been better since my entry price would have been lower than yours

Also, I wonder why you didn't get stopped out if you took the 11:28 entry. What candle did you use as swing low?

And it seems to me that Fame of Me made the buy entry at 10.35 and not 11.28 like you say, if I can count the minutes of her chart correctly. But prior to that there hadn't been any macd/stoch signal, that is for sure. I wonder why she hasn't addressed this yet

I was indeed stopped out pretty much straight away.My entry was at 1.2263 and I took the swing low at 1.2260-2pips as my stop , when I entered trade stoch had been below 20 for a least 5 candles and had come up and was at about 30 or so on entry, macd had only posted one correct colour to go long at this time but as per rules I took the trade, tp was 18pips, but sl hit at-6

Having looked again at FOMs chart it does seem that his stoch had not gone below 20 so yes not by original rules, sorry my bad,

Im quite happy with the growth of the account

Im now with drawing funds from this account to invest in my 3rd mechanical system

This uses Renko and has been very successful for me so far
If the system carries on the way it has I will start a new thread and post all the details

Iv had a few pvts about my post so let me clarify, I always funds new ventures from funds won it gives me an emotional edge. I'm funding this new ventures from funds won here

I will still be trading this strategy and I will still be looking to improve the entry to gain a better strike rate. The exit has to remain the same to get 3:1 rr we need the TP to be 3 x the risk

I will only post changes if they look viable

I got 1.2102 with my SB company I entered as the bar on my MT closed which was an upbar .I got a good fill ...the next bar went up a couple pips then closed as a doji

My SL was set to 1.2108

TP was 1.2084

Which was hit on my SB platform
