Months to trade or not to trade Forex?

I did some trading from November 10th to December 11th and made 31% of my account w/ 52% of winning trades and then from December 13th to now I lost 8% of my account w/ 70% of lossing trades.

Yea, I know that the Forex market usually gets chopping during that month or holiday season because people go on vacation. I just felt like trading during that time to see if my strategy would work. I remember that someone here from another thread said that European bankers go on vacation from Dec15th to Jan15th.

I just want to know if you guys know what other months we should avoid trading the Forex market due to choppy conditions. (Obviously I know December and summer time I think.)

Months to avoid... it's a bit exaggerated!
There are DAYS to avoid... when the markets are closed! :

Jokes apart, IMHO there is EVER a system to gain profit.

As a general rule of the thumb, avoid August and the second half of December. Most professional traders take their holidays those days.
