GN: Entered short on pullback up to Trend line, per attached. It could go higher. SL2 for LS (more breathing room) if needed.

GN Commentary:

I am already in this trade, short, which I posted earlier. This has a H&S pattern on M15 (see attached). LO BBS seem to be following FO BBs in using a small range area to consolidate (interpretation: Load Up shorts!). The actual TP depends on when price breaks down thru the neckline of the pattern.

Speculative, but worth watching......look at volume! (Wish Jayjonbeach, H&S specialist, was here to comment.)

Hi TAH,

I have posted a chart showing a shaded white rectangle with 2 blue bars 1 green bar (inv.hammer) and 2 red bars, which came within a up move, but seem to have formed a top or at least a pause in the up move. Would you please let me have your interpretation of what the VSA and candles are telling us, is big money loading short positions and if so how do the candles colours tell you this?

take GU short trade..

volume increased as London Open.. Hope will be a good trade..

I see the volume increasing as price rises to HOD, followed by several higher volume bars as price starts to come down from HOD. My impression is that the BBs executed a liquidity creation move. Since HOD is like the second high of a Double Top on M15, the BBs might have closed longs on the first of the Double Tops. Now, any remaining BBs are doing same. If my impression is not in error, then we should eventually see a move down, the profit making run for the BBs. Today? Tomorrow? Who knows? Nobody. But if the BBs are loading up on shorts now, upwards pressure and further price increases could happen until they are ready for the move down. M30 has higher highs, so the recent "Double Top" on M15 could be taken out with a price rise to those higher highs above the half number. That is what I'd expect, since the BBs have the price so close to doing so already, and the half number area is natural resistance, but up to it is good area for additional liquidy creation moves. If all this happens, a good short trade might not be coming until a day or so more. Just have to keep an eye on it.

is this a valid sonic setup?

there was increasing volume on first wave, but also increase on second wave(just 1 bar on TF 15)..

EU: Revised TPs. TP1 reached. Trade closed for 23 pips gain EP1 to new TP1. Looking for pull back now for possible re-entry higher, since USD high impacts are coming. Might not happen, though.

Thank you for your explanation, I guess I am finding it difficult to understand how the VSA should be read to give me an edge and was hoping there was a set number of basic patterns (so many blue, green and red that happen on a regular basis giving a high probability what as gone before might be about to change) you could point me to at tops and bottoms of moves that I could lookout for. If there are no set patterns then I will look to see if I can use it to spot divergence which I have shown on the attached chart, I know the VSA uses tick data rather than the moving averages used by the MACD and the VSA can only calculate market activity based on the number of ticks supplied by our brokers feed, rather than real time volume quantity, because one tick could be equal to 1 lot or 10,000 lots. However if tick activity moves lower while price moves higher, this should show the continued up move is false with little interest from the Bulls. I will see how this why of using the VSA to spot divergence (therefore a correction) works out on the current AUDCHF pair I am following.

closed trade on 9850 and 9856, coz decreasing volume and resistance... maybe will go higher after short retracement..

I still wait for a candlestick close below 1.0203 to enter short.
