A close < 1.5480 today would be a strong indication of us going down more. If it doesn't then it's more likely we bounce back up. My inclination is this is going down since we busted through the lower trendline of June's upwards move.

Risk is SERIOUSLY off....
look at EURUSD tank, look at GBPUSD tank... Look at USDJPY tank... look at XAUUSD fly...

on Risk aversion... EURUSD falls, GBPUSD falls, when those falls translate to USD strength... look at XAUUSD and you'll see the Dollar strength actually goes to GOLD an no where else....

[b]GBPUSD has a lot...
We are approaching 90 Pips Daily Range..... still 20 or so pips to go if it wana keep with the average range... and Bollinger Band still not showing a drying up GBPUSD.... bollinger band is still wide open.... good god....5450 next??

You're about 60 pips shy. 390 is the nearest support, then prolly stall before heading deeper. Might take a few days tho but that massive bearish flag is now in play.

UK has already increased stimulus through QE by 50 billion pound
but US is still waiting for today's NFP to decide whether QE3 is needed....

Buddy did you not see forexfactory showed an increase in UK blah blah funding facility to have INCREASED by 50BLN meaning UK has injected 50Billion Pound of Stimulus in the form of Quantitative Easing....

so they DID introduce more stimulus...
HOWEVER rumor started around Thursday...
oops my bad didnt c that yea qe means weakness but gbp not selling off aswell as gold hmmm

Closed last short for a small profit. Not going to re-enter today.

A great week compared to last, as any week with an improvement would be. I had a 65% "win" rate on my trades and a profitable week. Have a good weekend folks.

I was out,still am on the road but I have the road system with me and I can share a picture of it if you want to.
It is very prosystem that cost me a fortune but it worth all the penny

today I only got 90 pips and yesterday 200 but not on GU nor EU

anyway....as I expect the unexpected to happen with all currencies I might jump on a long GU TP 1.5550...yes,that's what I'm gonna do.

I might reconsider over weekend.but I'm still long....dunno why

Why the GBP is Outperforming the EUR


Although risk aversion drove the British pound lower against the U.S. dollar, sterling performed extremely well against the euro and Swiss Franc. In fact the GBP hit a 3 year high against the EUR and 1 year high against the CHF today. What was most interesting about this move was the fact that it came on the heels of weaker inflation numbers. The Bank of England eased monetary policy alongside the European Central Bank this week, but the euro has fallen far more significantly than the pound. The reason why this has occurred is because the euro is being punished for being the source of the region's problems. Both the BoE and the ECB are expected to ease again this year and inflation is a big reason for why they can. According to this morning's producer price report, input prices dropped 2.2 percent in June while output prices fell 0.4 percent and core prices fell 0.2 percent. Inflation is on a downtrend and it won't be long before consumer prices slip back to the BoE's 2 percent target from its current level of 2.8 percent. In the coming week, industrial production and the Visible trade balance are the only pieces of U.K. data on the calendar. With the rebound in the manufacturing PMI report, there's scope for an upside surprise.
