The announcement seems earth shattering on its face, but the devil will be in the details that...

It seems like everything has gone in a tight range before the European open. Frankfurt didn't provide much fireworks.

morning all,

still no change on the daily outlook.....

in a correction of 1.328x to 1.228x drop.

Possible wave C commenced giving a first target of 1.274x then 1.290x.

Invalid start of wave C if we go below 1.240x.

Correction over if we breach 1.228x or 1.328x

Again I will be buying the dips.....

Cannot remember exactly when, around 87, 89?, that the BOJ wanted to "punish the currency speculators and teach them not to speculate" and the JPY moved 15% in a few days, that is about four times as much as the 500 pips....

Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker, who heads the group of euro finance ministers said “We will keep all options open to do the interventions that need to be done to calm the situation. There is a whole array of possible interventions and measures.”

So basically, there is no steps in place to actually do something. It's is the exact same thing Benny-boo does every meeting. The Fed has all the tools available yada yada to get the markets thinking something good is going to come.

Everyone was dead sure QE3 was coming, the markets rally and then nothing. If you read what is coming out there is nothing solid stating what is going to be done in order to fix Italy, Spain and the rest. Everyone knows the debt situation, everyone knows something needs to be done. Coming to agreement that something needs to be done should of happen three years ago.

Just saying a generalized statement and that we all agree we need to do something is facile. It makes a great environment for traders, but the markets think that the debt crisis is being resolved.

The ol' buy the bullshit sell the real life debt crisis scheme.
