bloomberg speculating again saying that this is very short term action on euro and this is going to fall again.
F... ! bloomberg. they are always speculating and trying to redirect in wrong direction.

Euro will back to 2750 next week.

wow! that was one biggest 20 minute move i have ever seen. i guess will be hard to go any higher today.

Don't guess... Then you might as well flip a coin... Trade the charts... I've seen moves like this consolidate a little, and then run further for double...

Don't trade with a "Hope" strategy...

That's why am just watching now after took my +, were long from 1.2450 zone.

I think we get a good idea here in 7 minutes with Frankfurt opening

Its Friday...last day of the month, a shortened trading session for me because my trade rules don't allow trades carried over the week end, so at European Equities close I must be out...

What has typically happened after these summits is a spike upward on the news conference as the officials tell us they are in control of the problem and all is going to be rosey from now on.... only to have the market later reject the initial move higher.

The announcement seems earth shattering on its face, but the devil will be in the details that we don't know yet. Look for news with things like, the German Supreme court will have to rule on this.... some parliament needs to vote on this.... etc... some other concrete action that needs to be taken before the money starts flowing.

I'll be looking closely at the bond markets as the canary in the coal mine...

I am looking to see if bond yields in the open market fall considerably confirming the market is buying into this summit result. I want to see Spain 10 year sub 6.6% Italian Ten year sub 6%.... I'll be watching for them to creep up as that will be the first sign that the markets are rejecting the deal.

I don't think this solve the problem... it just buys some time as gov't money buys bonds the open market doesn't want.... eventually the market will reject this.

I continue to think we are likely to see an ECB rate cut next week.... and that will entail a repricing of the Euro lower vs the dollar. This will be the real driver next week as the markets verdict on this summit becomes clearer...

1.2635 remains key topside resistance....

Of note is also 1.2666ish... Its a wave A high, and coincides with the 50 day SMA and lies at the bottom of a former descending channel that marked the last swing high. Taking this level out in a sustained way will be very telling if the move higher has legs.

Watch the bond rates for signs the market rejects the story out of the Summit. If they fall substantially ( they haven't as I type this but its early) and continue to trade at the lower... stocks and the Euro will be firm.

A lot of people... me included... will be inclined to sit the day out unless we get a news story and or market action that the deal is falling apart or has been over priced....

i think frunkfurt will give us the direction for the day till NY !!!!

Cancel waiting for 1.2345 I'm talking jublies. massively over tired and lagging in analysis. 38 retrace once we get to the top of this run, wich is much further up.

My strategy for EUR/USD today will be to just put pending long/short orders at S/R and just let the market break outs decide whether I make any money or not.
