Closed my short at 1.5500. Market momentum has slowed down and not sure if the market will get that much lower. We've already stretched 120 pips today. It's only 5 off my target and I'd rather that then it now retrace 10-15 pips.

market have no time to build traps.

they are called traps to name them quickly in a speech, but fact is that in some levels there are orders placed. buy orders, sell orders, tp orders etc...
near 5540 obviously there were still some buy orders, whole week they went filled. but since conditions were worst today, those orders went closed few pips later, causing the immediate reversal.
that's all.

the real traps are made in retailers charts with insane drawings and human ideas, while market moves only in numbers.

if things will not change very soon.....
according to daily chart, 1.5070-80 is very well on cards.
from here, just need to break below 1.53 again.

first sign will be around 1.5460 breaking.

upside, only a clear move above 5640 again will change the scenario...

a clear breaking of the green area (between 23% of downmove and 61%of "upmove") will mean easy possible the 0% again and in that case we are out of weekly triangle.

FibExtension 61% says 1.5150

now i really leave.

Still holding short from 1.57665 and added more today at 1.55512.... tomorrow will either make or break the Pound when KING speaks....but maybe not. Target still at 1.5025 - however possibly revise the target to 1.5200 if there is no follow through.

Took a long @ 1.5495 targetting 1.5530. We've bounced off the channel's lower trendline and the uptrend's 76% fib. Price will likely retrace some of today's movement before London open and the King's talk.

This is the update for today...

GBP/USD finally made a decisive close below the 1.5550 on the 4 hourly, next spot to watch for a support level might be the lower Bollinger Band, latest reaction seems to be a follow up on the retest made by price against the golden trendline.

Confluence of events gave us a good setup on the break of the trigger channel as seen on the June 21st price action chart, If you took the setup since the trigger break or the retest of trendline then you are in profit already, trend is down for daily so we are going to hold on it.

I think it can reach 1.5550-60. I keep a long from 1.5515. IŽll wait a couple of more hours. Then if target no reached, I will to close manually.
