Your chart looks different from mine, mine attached. I have long several uppper tail in my chart. While it looks bullish on longer TF I think after this several candle there should be correction at leas around 1.25 area, maybe I'll load another long there if I notice some demand.

Passerby, glad your doing well with your account. If you mainly want to trade the HTF's then the broker spread is only going to be a tiny expense. I wouldn't worry- the important thing is that you get filled and not requoted as many bucketshops do.

I'm not sure what you mean- it looks the same to me- try zooming in.

Stopped out BE, but I'm not unhappy with that, as I I think I managed the trade correctly (well, I could have bagged a few more pips, but the important thing is that I protected my account. It's important to realise that no trade is a given- no matter how sure you feel, you must always be prepared to read signals that you might not want to see, and act on them.

I think it was my mistake, after looking closely the do look similar. The difference that I was looking is the last candle, it was already closed on mine. I didn't notice that yours is not closed yet.

Now, about my broker. Last month I was shorting gold from 1565, placed my TP around 1535 something. The price drop to 1531 and my order still there, my tp background changed to yellow but they did't close it. Price retrace back to my SL which I moved to 1563.7 and before it was actually hit they close it.

Just now, I closed EU long just after the candle which make the new high. My terminal only showed sending order and after it drop 2 pips they closed it. It was not about spread, the spread currently is around 0.4-0.7 pips.

Sounds like you should ditch your broker, they're playing games.

Sorry I think you're right- I just looked at it quickly. You should always contact your broker if there are inconsistencies. How they deal with it should help you decide what to do next.

I think I have enough with this one, next week I will try to contact roboforex local representative. The actually have lower house commission, $3 per 1 standar lot compared to $5.3(I think, or it was 5.2). Tonight, I will open demo account and try their service for a few weeks to compare their spread and execution speed. Actually, I want to open mini account as they are swap free, but some broker have maximum limit on these account.

You could think that I was a bit stingy but I have a choice here, why not. Few pennies could be several hundred dollars if you multiplied it again and again.

It's possible it was a genuine error and they will refund you, but from the looks of it I doubt it. There are many scam brokers in FX- who will not allow to make money, - this kind of thing happens a lot. Just find a better broker. I don't think the thread should be full of broker talk, but I'm happy with mine- LMAX. None of the above things have happened, I use them purely for execution which is brilliant, but their charting is crap. But there are IB's for them that can offer better charting like Fastbrokers.

Yup, scalp another 6 pips. I will hold it longer when I got a better entry. Take a look here on GU, coming near previous high. I will play some correction depending how she behave there. But be careful, we have a ascending triangle here. I would love to take long on her if she retract back to my lower trend lines.

I took another 5ma bounce trade here, entry at 37 when she looked to be holding, and 1st TP at 50 where we have the 1hr 365 which is holding. SL was and still is trailing the 10ma.

Cable does look weak up there, but euro and aussie still strong, so be careful shorting- get a good entry with a tight stop

Yes I am with you, tempting but look risky. So rather than shorting GU, I am building small position on EU. I would load another long below my lower entry here.

A little busy on my side here today, but I take it as a good sign. Good luck with your trade.

The gu short is a perfectly valid trade, but I think it's wise to keep an eye on Aussie and Euro- they are both looking strong, but they are both also at a resistance level, so could retrace from here, helping the short. Look at Aussie 1hr- we're at the point of that massive drop after the gap, so there are going to be a lot of sell orders here. i'm just trading with the momentum, but am covered already (v.important) and prepared to get out should the momentum change. it's important not to get tied to a trade when trading intraday

Those fast ma's the 5 and 10 are stilll pointing upward, my stop is behind them, we don't know wht is going to happen next, but either the 50 level gets broken and the momentum carries us higher, or the ma's get broken showing the momentum has changed. You just want to position yourself so that you are on the right side of the move- ie long if we break 50, or out of the position or even short if the ma's get broken and turn down

There you go- stopped out -3. I see your stop is lower- which is fine, but it means that you should cover later. It's a matter of personal style. I prefer tighter stops.
