as long as humans exists there will ALWAYS be markets.

even if civilization comes to an end

there will always be a need for a liquidity provider, a buyer, a seller, and a way t o offset risk.

in a more inefficient market where you are trading potatoes for shoes you can profit even better finding the individual that REALLY needs shoes and is willing to give the most potatoes then finding the individual that REALLY needs potatoes and is willing to give the most shoes.

If money dies who knows.

But for now rip the biggest asshole out of the markets and spread the wealth to the unfortunates in this imperfect world.

That's your homework assignment

The end of 'Forex Trading' might be when the whole world got a single 'World Currency', There will be no 'exchanging' then we may say its end of 'Forex Trading'. There will be alot of Forex, More News, More recessions more movements in the Market, even IF whole European Union got broke, So Whats? We will get the More currencies from European countries, such as Germany's Deustche Mark and Italy, Spain's currencies to trade like GBP we can trade them!!!

So Think Ahead, Trade Well, Good Luck!!!!

I can only imagine one scenario when money is not needed anymore and that is when everything relating to our basic needs is done by roboters without human involvement.

As long as you need humans to do work, there will be money, otherwise they won't move their ass (and rightly so. Why work if you get no benefit from it?).

And yes, markets will also always exist. Markets are just an extension of our normal human behavior. If I have something precious like a picasso and you want it, and I know that it is rare, then I only give it to you for a high price. If on the other hand I own a glass of sand, and know that the demand is low and supply is huge, then I can only charge a little for that glass of sand.
That's what markets do, they always try to find the balance between supply and demand.
