Thanks both, I will do. But as you say never trade against a trend - so, for ie in this moment trend is bearish and who is on bullish side is against of trend, correct? My problem when I see something like this is that, as Kiwi say, your information is not complete because is measing for example TF. If I open a long position now with TP for 10-15 pips, I still have a big chance to close he position - even I'm against the trend and I can repeat the this couple times without be wrong or extremly good. So, in my opinion if you post this and in order to not confuse unexperiented persons is better to add more info and avoid general speaking.

S&P 500 futures have recovered back into their overnigt short term range following a break out to the downside during Fed's Fischer's comments....

we're gonna need some more news to get a clean full fledged break of S1

Very simple rule to keep in mind. Start from monthly -> daily -> H4
now stop what you see? If its downtrend you go to lower TF's and if you trade on them you are only looking to sell and don't care much about bounce here and there. This is the "safest" way to trade.
Some guys scalp against the trend sometimes and that's fine. As long as MM allow them to do that and RR is solid.
For you first option.

If you open short term positions and the short term is bullish (as was yesterday) it's ok. But keep the general picture in mind, and always look at bigger TF's (4h,daily).

I don't have something with people who trade differently than I do, as long as they come with arguments and analysis as why'd they do that. I can come tomorrow and say 1.38 is on my charts, and a bunch of newbies will go long IN A BEAR TREND! See my point?

I don't mind him babbling around here, as long as he comes with a pertinent analysis, or an impertinent one that's open to other people's opinion. All of my posted trades are accompanied by an explanation regardin my analysis.

2410 looks set to break

yes moving average slopes and crossovers are very important

there is just so many to choose from, i think you have to experiment

On a side note, China just declined all help towards the EU, so they have to come up with the money somewhere else.

nopeI not saying that, for me personally, dont care about trend, if my indicators say sell I sell, I often am selling support, 2nd broken rule, this work for me nice, but I have very strict criteria for entry and trade plan, is more about risk appetite, so never buy resistance, never sell support, never trade against trend, this is safest method,

but I do all 3,

Yup, that'd mean that EU is at 1, maybe 0.9.
