Actually the swaps for long positions should be positive.
It should be positive on long EUR/CHF positions if EUR interest rate is bigger than CHF interest rate. In this moment, for EUR is 1% and for CHF is 0% => positive swap. In rest, it's depending on broker.

It's a good idea to get a swap-free broker.
Some say it's only for the Muslim faith, but there are many swap-free brokers around who will just give you swap free accounts regardless of your belief.....

I agree:

Libor Overnight CHF is at 0.015 % at mom
Libor Overnight EUR is at 0.2604 % at mom.
So it's already lower than the discount rate of EZB at 1 %.

There shouldn't be a negative swap at long EUR/CHF with your broker after any decision to lower the interest rates.

But the brokers don't seem to be fair at the moment.

I want to sell too , only worry about if the spike after I sell it.
Seems like its gonna go between 1.2008 to 1.2012 for several days until the
election ?

I think it will spike up before next weeks monetary meeting.
Although i dont think anyone is expecting the floor to be raised there is nothing to say they wont bring in negative rates or some other measure

How much spike do you guys think will happen pre-SNB monetary assessment next week?

The last time in March was up to about 1.2140.
How much do you think this spike will be? higher? or lower?

Remember Greece's elections is 3days after SNB.

almost everybody is preparing for that spike, therefore I bet no spike, instead some obese finger from Mr. Jordan to offload some EURs to reduce his "stomach ache"

Hahaha yeah maybe.

Everybody knows the floor wont be raised so maybe no spike.

But there is always the chance they may do something else.

ZURICH--The head of Swiss company Bucher Industries AG (BUCN.EB) warned of dire consequences should the euro/franc floor imposed by the Swiss National Bank be breached, a report to be published Wednesday said.

In an interview with the Swiss paper Handelszeitung, Philip Mosimann is quoted as saying that parity between the Swiss franc and the euro could force the company to shut down some of its factories in the Alpine country.

"With 1.20 (CHF per euro) we can barely live," he told the paper. "With 1.10 we would have to outsource part of the Swiss production, and with parity, we would have to close down factories," Mr. Mosimann was quoted as saying, adding that he believed that the SNB is able to keep the current floor.

agreed but can can change the level of "stomach ache" of Mr. Jordan, so maybe it can force some policy change,

still I do think that SNB have chosen a bad strategy to leave EURCHF bulls disappointed, with that strategy they "won" maybe 35BLN EUR offloading over months and in 2-3 weeks they soaked up maybe 50BLN EUR. If they make such a strategy that they support the bullish trend and chart, then now they would might have an army of 200x leveraged warriors on their side either grexit or not grexit pfff.

should they lower the peg to 1,1 they can soak up each week maybe 100BLN or more until they forced to 0,8-0,9 rate.

so to sum up I expect capital controls like in Brasil soon...
