I really don't understand who is selling all this EUR/CHF?

If all this CHF inflows are from Greece or Spain. OK!
But what kind of "trader" builds up that massive short positions against a national bank???

If they do something surprisingly you are dead!!!

We all know the SNB have been spending billions which is why if they want to hold the floor they need to bring in the other measures they have been talking about.

Jordan was talking recently about the time they bought the floor in it was the only choice they had which to me says now they have more choices available which they will use.

I don't know about these rumors but traders are a nervous lot about rumors no matter how impossible they are.

I believe SNB has it's own creditability & image to be taken care of.
They keep uttering "utmost determination" & what do you think of SNB if suddenly the floor is breached? or SNB deliberately allow a breach of floor? or a deliberate lowering of this floor?

I think SNB will give early warning signs if they intend to do so. These signs will be at least 2-3months in advance.
The most possible thing SNB can do to 'get rid' of us speculators is to peg CHF to a basket of currencies or the simplest to both EUR & USD Index. Even a weighted 80% to EUR and 20% to USD peg will cause uncertainty to the EURCHF pair.

Some countries in Asia like Singapore & Malaysia peg their currencies to an "undisclosed basket" of currencies + a managed float to prevent speculators.

But this will not happen so soon I believe.
I'm waiting for June 14th SNB, then sell all earnings, while waiting for the next big drop to floor on 17th Greece elections (hopefully don't turn out otherwise). Then buy crazily again.

I donīt like to trade this pair, is so maddening, that I get frustrated. I prefer other pairs, I like to trade the usdchf better.

usd/chf long is like eur/usd short these days.
why don't you take the pair with the better spreads?

Is not necessary as long as 1.20 not breakable.
It will go up when SNB wants it...and this time will come soon enough I think.

It's good if there are rumors und some hedge fonds taking short positions-
SNB may wait for it because it will become a nice short squeeze later ;- )

if tomorrow EUR Minimum Bid Rate will be lowered to 0.75% for example, as some people say, to be long with EURCHF will cost more?
