i closed mine in 1.57 area end of last week.

you gotta right click on the app icon on desktop and run as administrator - it may prompt you to open new a/c if demo /using demo cause you only use the charting, then it will prmpt you to agree to auto update and restart. When closed and re-opened (restarted) after the update you can close again and open as normal - ie not run as administrator. This advice applies if running Windows 7 or vista operating systems. In Windows XP youi don't have to run as administrator.

any idea about gold here?

in my study should not close today far from these levels, but smells like something cooking out there.

hard to predict if dollar strenght will push that price down or if will begin an insane gold buy mania........................... in this case, the so many times mentioned 2500$ x oz this year will become true!

Good short area if you want to jump in is 1.5305-5325 with TP 1.5235-36 and from there to trail it down.
If price goes under 1.5164 we go straight to 1.4500

still I doubt we will see that price before seeing 1.60 again.

for now bears will slam the price by the end of the day....if NFP won't screw things around here

2 years ago in this very similar scenario, market began to over buy gold like there was nothing else to do.
now, let's say that things are different and gold price also is 50% more than 2 years ago.
but what to do with papers? we were talking few days ago about this.
who could now buy USD or GBP or EUR or Cyuan etc...??
this scenario is simply showing investors the insane volatility. if everybody begins to move their money in gold, 1600 will be eat like nothing, very soon. then 1700 and 1800 will simply improve buy mania. the more will go up the more people will trust in it.

i say because i'm looking for a trade in gold. initailly the short was looking more good, but now i'm considering to look for a long. at least not exclude it only due to dollar strenght.

Price is challenging top of the previous monthly/weekly/daily swing lo zone extending down to 5234. How much demand in this zone ? It is a major swing low.

5275-34 prev Mthly/Weekly/Daily swing lo zone incl 5263 = Daily S2 @/around
5191 61.8% 4225-6746
5167 Daily S3 @/around
5093 Monthly S1 @/around

OPA downtrends are strong 1hr-Daily and Monthly candle closed very bearish. Bad Uk data just out well below last mth and forecast...U.s NFP etc due later.

Price now @ 137% 20 day atr.
