1.1752 is the target. The low will probably be somewhere below there... maybe even the 1.1595 I mentioned a couple of posts ago.

Yep. Saw that. My exact target is 1.1761. But I'm with you that it will probably go further down. What's a couple of pips amongst friends?

I'm not sure where Jamie is getting his data. I know he works in the FXDD offices in NY. Perhaps it is FXDD traders who are net short the Euro.

Thank you sir! I'm wondering if I should wait till after NFP tomorrow or just let the week end and wait till sunday night/monday. I'm still cautious of month end profit taking before I re-enter.

The way I see it: if NFP's are positive or better than expectations, then it is much more likely to be US Dollar positive even in a risk on status, and if NFP's undershoot then it could go either way, all depends on how the feds react, qe3, or other easing measures?

And in my case I also need to keep an eye on the SNB.

I see the trend still coninues lower. No ending action. Again All rallies should be shorted. tomorrow numbers won't change much big picture is still down sided. Just my 2 cents....

The best trade for NFP has mostly been the USD/JPY

Short on bad numbers
Long on good numbers

The only exception is during times of probable BOJ intervention with a bad NFP number or any other risk off news.

As for EUR/USD, if the number is good tomorrow, the USD will rally against the Euro (EUR/USD bearish). If the number is bad, we should get sideways or slightly bullish action but any bullish action should be well capped. The only factor that could cause a sustained short squeeze on this pair is a miraculous resolution to the problems in Spain and Greece. I don't see that coming any time soon. Sure you'll hear lots of rumors of a solution which may squeeze out the weak shorts, but I see these as opportunities to add fresh shorts.

Bottom line, Euro is crap. USD is not much better but the US is not facing a potential currency breakup, bank failure or sovereign debt default in the near term.
