Now,everyone is thinking paper currency is not right instrument to trade.What is the other instrument in alternative to paper currency is gold.Gold is very good if some one can buy it now...

If Euro fever is over...next will be shorting USD...you guys can make millions trading against dollar...just wait for few months...

if you guys want to buy gold...try buying it with in next month or two.After that it will fly i guess...If uncle sam is not reliable and if every country which is having dollar as reserve currency will sell it to buy gold...

Then,no one will can protect uncle sam...

there is a conference in brussels to talk about the possible changes in banking regulations.... in regards to bank's holding of gold... gold right now is a tier 3 holding.... they are considering demanding banks to be holding something of higher liquidity tier 1 "stuff"
if this is the case gold will lose its value....
this is what i have been talking about how gold would become obsolete, sooner or later, banks will realise gold is not going to be worth holding anymore as the return is getting more and more insignificant when compared to the price of silver, corn, sugar, plutonium etc etc....

Bucket shop...price was way down...

Today
Price was agreed by tokyo session traders that GBP/USD and GBP/JPY will go down.So,there was no retrace in price(may be very less retrace).
Then,comes UK traders and they pushed it down
Now,US traders are pushing it still down...

Time to open another trade i guess...

not yet a buy in gold imo.
full downward and if 1500 will not hold now today-tomorrow, we easy go in lower 1400 price levels.

to buy it i need something clear (excluding scalps).

acutally is said that there is still a huge demand of physical gold, but where the reason to buy it now since i see that it can go lower? i sold my physical just 350$ x oz above here. would be good to see price some 200 more down.

I can't afford to trade Gold and Silver is behind in value in relation to Gold I believe so it prob has more upside potential. I just prefer silver due to less drawdown value.

we are back in the past of 2 years when coming in charts in the morning and "what to do?" sell something and take profits 70-90 pips lower.

My live account is with a different broker and rarely falls over but I run a demo of Alpari and it always falls over 2 or 3 times a day, I was going to open an account with them just for scalping but not if the live accounts are just as flakey. Are you live on Alpari or demo?

We will see what happens when US will be forced to pay there trillion dollar debt which is equal to there GDP.

yes of course!
as soon as market will forget european toy again, USD will get such a kick that will be nearly unbelievable at the beginning.

If bank neither trust currency nor gold...then what do they trust...

Yes, I was really just chatting to myself out loud. My old flat mate bought about 20 ounces of physical Gold but because it had to be done in USD the pricing correlation with fees involved and interest on the loan he took out to buy it, meant he still lost a small amount of money when He sold it. He had to sell it when looking for work in the mines so not sure of exact prices but he said he sold most for higher value (USD decreased in value)but when converting USD back to Aussie he lost. How do you make money without leverage if Gold price correlates inversely to USD value?

I have both Demo and Live platforms with them...we will see...some times it happens...anyway i will think to diversify my account with different brokers..

uhm will try to do some calculations before buy it again!
of course we have XAU EUR so less problems here.

i bought it when was around 1000 and sold 1850 lol.

looking to buy it again but not at these levels in this scenario.

IMO world need something where put money. actually flows are going into USD. will USD be able to substain such an impact? uhmmmmm....
temp can be good but as said earlier by oathbreaker, usd debt is not a joke and things can get worse if usd goes too much overvalued....

what will then world buy? eur? gbp? gold? chinese yuan?
already excluded by default the chf and jpy..
