options prices are lower but still high compared to previous weeks.

3m and 6m options prices are stable but 1m and weekly changes rapidly through the day

at least pair ain't dead so far...

I don't think that the spike in EUR/CHF yesterday was a fat finger trade.
Maybe only the initial move up.
There was still a down and up until we saw the max at around 1.2070 half an hour later.

I don't know what's behind that movement http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon5.gif

How much volume was necessary to buy all that stuff up to 1.2070 yesterday? Anybody an idea?

Maybe not a fat finger only, but simply this first spike increased unfounded speculations about new measures, intervention, etc. If they were founded, price would not have returned to these levels

Ashamedly I did not sell 10 hours ago in this last bounce the remaining lot in my positions.

Nope, the next spike will be on 14 June 2012, just hours before SNB's next monetary decision. I predict will spike 100pips till 1.2100 due to speculation.

It also depends on Swiss CPI figures MOM & YOY out next month, just before SNB.

The reply I got from customer support is ridiculous.


A few people were discussing about brokers offering a positive swap on that pair earlier. Is there any good broker doing so ? (swap is NOT the main reason I'm on that trade, but at least it rewards patience).

Try AVA Fx - good swap. I get EUR 2.2 per lot overnite.

I googled Avafx scam and I also googled many other famous forex brokers + scam and interestingly found out that all the other forex brokers have scam remarks with them too!

I've been with Ava since early 2010 & they live to my expectations incl withdrawal, trading rules, spreads, swaps as per their agreed terms & conditions. So far, they are reasonable & nice to trade with. I'm very comfortable with them.

Can anyone find any other higher EURCHF swap than AVAFx? Thanks

eurchf is like an EKG of the swiss economy..dont underestimate any central bank (all central banks in this case)

the price has gotten free yesterday, after months of endless 5 pip range.

remember it broke up, failed to hold gaines but IT moved
and we will see attempt on 1.2

furthermore most brokers stopped giving positive swaps to clients, simply because everyone is long.

i doubling up personally.

The pair is quietly moving towards the peg in late-afternoon trading: 1.2005 !!

Liquidity is so poor at this hour that anything could happen. It could be easy to move the market as a central bank right now imo.

Still holding my long position despite a non-existent swap from now.
13 traders viewing now
