0615 GMT [Dow Jones] The Swiss import and producer price index is expected to have fallen 2% on the year in April, according to the average of four economists' forecasts compiled by Dow Jones Newswires. On the month, the combined index is expected to have edged up 0.2%. The data are due for release May 14 at 0715 GMT. ([email protected])

1) They absolutely don't want the eurchf price to go up at all, just let's take for true the fact that for example at eurchf at 1.25 the cpi YoY would reach over 3% in august, absolutely a thing to avoid.

2) They absolutely don't want the eurchf to go down, as deflation stay around the corner and exporters are already damn angry.

What if they are doing the double game, a floor and a ceiling, like they did when eurchf was at 1.50.

My thinking is that eur/chf at 1.20 is about right if EUR/USD is also at about 1.20 so still a ways to go until I need to worry about unloading my longs.

At the moment my broker have spread from 1.20013 - 1.20221 I like 21 pip spread

Jordan's speaking tomorrow so it's not inconceivable there could be some short covering/buying in anticipation of him saying something big... but that's not likely to move the market above 2030 unless he actually DOES say something big. If not then it will fall right back down to where it is now.
