The trades all finished at the following prices:
-16 pips
-12 pips
-4 pips
-2 pips
-9 pips

If you want to test this system as Eval first did at the beginning of the thread then you have the wrong indicators on there. You have v3.01 of the matrix when that didn't come out until way later. If you want to test then you need to do it with the old original indicators that Eval used. You can't mix up the indicators and expect to use them as he did the originals at the moment you're mixing up 2 different ways of trading it. Blackeagle still uses the original system: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...29#post5458829 and is very successful at it, so it might be an idea to look at his posts and put on the indicators he has.

You are using version 3 and exiting as the previous version.

No I am trading as per the rules in post 1, I am posting my losses because back in the begining on the thread I saw Evaluator and others asking for people to post their negative results for feedback, thats is what I am doing here. How else do I learn to use this system?

You were given constructive feedback when you were posting charts in the beginning of the day. You did NOT receive it well, and said you were NOT taking suggestions to improve your trades. You basically wanted to put wooden wheels on your car and learn for yourself (your response to RJ). Do you remember Mr. scientist? Don't pull that bullshit with me. You were given constructive feedback to further your progress and you didn't take well to it. Yes you hit a nerve. Your arrogance. Keep posting, you will not receive any help from me. Hello,

Is is a pitty that you didnīt take the earlier trades at frankfurt opening, those would cover partially if not totally the afternoon losses.

Yeah, I saw them they would have made up quite a bit of the losses! Did'nt start until the end of the upward move though! Nevermind!

They are used in different ways. We had to wait for the original extreme spike to stay there for 4 bars because it would very often disappear at the very next bar. This new extreme (the TVI2) doesn't repaint, so once its there and the bar closed, there it stays.

Hi guys hope everyone is doing well in health and in trading!! Still in the process of moving my funds to a US regulated broker

The vacation from trading has been nice but I'm definately missing it already even only after a week and a half. Trading offers something new to learn every day and not only helps me grow as a person but also as a trader.

Hope to be back by the end of this week! Cheers!

Red line stoploss green line TP.

I used RJ' s old advice with new matrix. My day finished with my time 16:00 (Frankfurt). Because 30Mn TVI start Red.

Also I have LTF-AtrProjektion I like it for TP.

In my quest to how to best trade trend versus ranging I have been using something that I wanted to pass on that one trading in the 5 min timeframe may find as a useful tool to keep you out of traidng against the trend and give one better positioning when the market turns into ranging whipsaws.

The majic component is the 60 day moving average. By adding this simple component one can clearly see which way the market is moving and trade with the overall markt direction and not counter to it. I have found that with the crazy consolidation mode that the markt has been stuck in for the past 3 months the 60MA has become a valuable tool in keeping one on the correct side of the changes in markt conditions.

As usual, I wait for a Symphonie Signal and then only take those that match the price action placement with the 60 MA (price action above the line only buys, price aciton below only sells).

Test this out and see if it improves your trading in the 5 min timeframe.

P.S. This also works in hightimeframe although I would imagine a 30MA would be better in the higher timeframes.

Eval looks quite interesting. Finding the proper MA to compliment rj's MA5 is golden. Can't wait to get back into the game!

I have this coral default 34 but 60 better filter I see. Do you have a look, please?

Not: Normaly I used in another system 60coral.

I am a scientist at heart so being able to replicate results is part of my learning process. Sure one person in this thread has shown positive results but that is only one person. Could those results be false? Possibly, not saying they are but how should i know? Testing is the only way.

Ok.....I understand what you're saying. My questions to you then are:

1. Why would you bother to learn a system from the very start, when the system has evolved to what it is today. It hasn't changed, the system is still very much the same, but it is much easier to 'operate' now than it once was. Going through the process of frustration with the old repainting extreme spike learning the 4 bar exit after opposite extreme seems a little silly, when you are going to have to 'unlearn' it at a later stage.

2. How much experience do you have trading....live or demo? If this (or any system) could be traded 100% mechanically, as you seem to be attempting, then we could fairly easily create an EA to trade for us and retire to the Bahama's and let the fortune just roll on in to our bank accounts!! Unfortunately, that system has never been developed, despite thousands of attempts. This (and most) system(s) is an extremely valuable assistant to help us trade profitably. It is an *assistant*. Knowing which signal is likely to lead to a profitable trade is something that must be learned the old fashioned way.

As you read through the thread you will come across much information and screenshots of trade setups as well as good and bad times to trade. But even before that.....you must know, and have at least demoed for quite some time, basic trading skills and understand of market movement. If not, you will see many more negative results in your testing, and it's not indicative of the system, or a fair evaluation/assessment of it.

Trading is not like scientific formula....it very much is discretionary and attempting to trade with e=mc squared thinking will result in failure I'm afraid.

So, if you are relatively new to trading, don't go an further with your assessment of this system because you are not being fair to it. Instead, go here are then spend a couple of months demoing what you have learned.....it will stay with you for ever.

If you're not new to trading, then apply your discretionary powers to your trading and let the system assist you in making sound and profitable decisions.

Above all......test the system as used by those who are well experienced and profitable.....some of us have pretty reliable and consistent electric heaters, we don't need to rub two sticks together to make fire!!

Here is the retest of the line as I was speaking of yesterday. The question is will the pa turn south now as this support becomes resistance.....or is it going to re-enter? The stochastic doesn't look good for the bears at the moment, and yesterdays bullish engulfing confirms that, but time will tell!

Hey guys, had to wipe and reinstall the pc...getting a little clogged! Just wanted to double check something. Noticed the change of settings on post 1 for trendline so I just wanted to know if I've set this up ok....

My Old setup

I presume (probably wrongly) that you enter 50 in both the trendline and matrix cci sections???

Reading through post 1 with the sub topics today has proven invaluable. Hats off as always to Eval and his loyal helpers, your help and imparting of knowledge is much appreciated!!
