I know that Paulus likes to keep things as mechanical as possible and trendlines are usually very subjective,but we still might use them to filter some of the noise which we have a lot on the 1 minute timeframe.May be it's reasonably to take less signals and wait until the price touches the trend line.But that's just another thought.We still have to avoid the trap of over-optimisation.

I also like the idea with breaking of candle's high.It's the best way to feel the momentum.

perhaps tweak RR, 1:2, when SL is bigger
or exit at daily pivot, or other etc

i know this is obvious to you, but x3 seems a little arbitrary, is it statistically backed??

..........and this trade is still surviving

A quick backtest over 16 days 8wins - 8 losses, not bad for 1:3 rr

No just referred to as the ideal scenario and makes any system with a 30 % strike rate profitable

Hi Paulus

Please clarify why you refer to the euro open as 6am uk time when it is 7am uk time. Is it just for the benefit of your chart set-up? I've noticed a few comments regarding this issue but no answer as to why.

what about tlhe macd sma setting, what value is that ? and open or close, and what are the levels ?

and what are fixed minimum and maximum values on macd ?

buying Aussie on Monday (719GMT) was also a good trade

buy @ 0149
SL @ 0135 (3 pip drawdown)
TP @ 0191 (+42)

i think this meets Paulus' rules, except applied to Aus

I enter a small sell order for your system but it lose, however, I entered a larger buy order rightaway because I saw that base on One hour/one day RSI, It is low value which indicate market might bounce back, I guess that you might consider checking on higher time frame as well.

Good job, hoping that someone write a order manager EA or script to enter order.

you can see all value in top left hand corner of macd pane

No sma on the macd I use ..no option to set open and close..no value to set no max min to set

did u download the ind ?

Id never go over 5min if trading 1min and you will always find an indy out there to confirm what ou want so be careful

start mix and matching indys on different ime frame and each time frame will give you a differnt buy or sell

There are loads of awesome trade managers around - just search. Search with Luktom Visual Order Editor etc..

I entered a sell on EURUSD at 1.3016 about half an hour ago. My stop loss is 1.3041, and my take profit is 1.2938. Let's just wait and see.
