i see other prs hitting support and swissy hitting nice resist too, but personally wouldnt trust s/r just now, has been major developments over weekend, I would expect any levels going to be direspected, maybe go out daily they is lot stronger, but you is in smeelly finger territory, becareful

i tried talk him out of it, but he seems to believe using sl is for the losers. i'm like whatever... it's not my problem.

I thought limit orders fill at the specified price or better

In the case of someone with an open limit in a gap down situation (your broker creates the gap, by starting up feed whenever) i would expect the order to fill at next available price.

That is right, but only when the retail broker has opened trading.

If no trading hour - no trading.

All is done at the opening with the opening price

I dont use SLs myself but I dont think its for losers each to their own if its part of your trading then go with ...its just not part of mine

@Saint - I'm not mocking you - Im just sharing my experience when I never traded with SLs - if it works for you - congratulations - it worked for me for a while and then I learnt my lesson.
