Back.

Still seems to me a few games are played. Mark 1.6163 ( the recent low) Hopes she continues to visit 1.62 and above before NFP.

Plan back on the table. Watching 1.62135 - yesterday's high.

Mark 1.6163.

I reckon we will have neutral numbers today..however market will sweep both sides as usual....if data is good then also dollar buying if bad then also dollar buying but only after clearing sides...

Given it's month of May, lot of traders are preparing for a sell-off and that ensures few shorts are placed with put options in place for many...wouldn't it be fun to scare the sh**t out of them by going high first

I see my signal with gold and silver, for no reason tanking

If we go back to 1.6163 now - I will not be trading NFP.

That was my marker to be filled. I was waiting for a push up all day- as that would have given me reason to short.

Oh well - always tomorrow

well for one, equities are vulnerable due to europe. So you can either take profit on what you have or put a SL in place and walk away. I doubt there is going to be a massive sell-off, we had some sell-off yesterday already. S&P cannot climb above 1400 & go below 1350 from a while it is giving me some kind of hint that we might range for a while. Despite whatever data is there unless it's really horrible.

well one thing for sure, we do not have buyers at these levels...seems someone is holding up but no buyers at 62ishh. On the other hand push bak to 63 wouldn't hurt....I am in favour of UP move.

Reason, look at daily chart and see large candle, this is the 5th day

Looking at EU - depending on the next few bars on 30min - probability is UP. If correlated - then I have to make the assumption that GU will go up as well....

Hey - may long this thing!

Well, I have not been too awed by reactions to NFP as of late. Indeed, other, less 'volatility-regarded' news releases seem to have moved the markets more after the initial price sweep from speculators.

As you say, unless the news is dramatic - and I cannot see that at present as it is election build-up period in the US, and everyone knows that Europe is on it's knees and about to collapse if the elections this weekend for Greece and France do not go the way thay are supposed to (in particualr Greece and the obvious corruption already present the past few days when reading the funnies) - it will be a hum-drum affair for me with about five minutes either side of the release for the market to sweep for stops.

...and let's not talk about possible for-knowledge by major players, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera...

Indeed, there are reasons why we will not see dramatic sell-off!!
50-100 pips is ok but not a trendsetter kind of scenerio here to watch..

Trend is already decided somewhat.

i know it looks very bullish but heres what im seeing... GBPNZD broke above the top of the bollinger band in the weekly... the last time GBPNZD closed above a the top of the bollinger band in weekly chart, gave a Major bear move the next week...
so im hoping this is the case, sending GBPNZD back to 2.0000 and beyond.... not sure if its gona get to 1.9625 but any move down would be nice... and im willing to start over again.... but not with 4000 USD left in the account.... maybe form 7000 usd if possible...
im seriously hoping NFP today would send...

I reckon it's screaming breakout on the UP side... bull pattern...we will see..not the last time I would be wrong .
