very well said, this is the essence. its all about how opinion leaders/ media can influence retails to buy or to sell. in this case, as u said, according only to technical analysis, buying is madness. but if u hear the news, u have to change ur point of view to 'selling is madness'. and this is what exactly expresses that the market is not only about technical analysis, u always have to be fundamental too, if u want to be a successful trader.
But technical analysis is a huge word, if you take 10 traders and give them the same chart, chances are that you will have many different technical analysis that point in different directions, just forget about technical analysis as it is highly subjective matter, to me personally technically eurchf is oversold, but who cares as it is just a subjective view.
The real fact for now however is that 90% of retails are long, 10% is short, and the shorts are making profits, while the longs are with floating losses.
Omg the facts for now say that we buyers are just the loosers in this game, lol
