i said it so often in this thread, just trade the sideways and dont wait for an intervention.
i take 200k buy everytime it goes to 2015/10 and close it at 2030/25 because atm we are not going much higher. already made from when it first fell to 1.20 2k $ profit, good luck.

Looks like it's the best strategy, but personally to make 10-20 pips i prefer any other usd-pair, less stress.

well the best strategy now is to have few long permanently collecting swaps and waiting for new floor or intervention
+ scalping 10/15 pips...

of course with broker who has direct line with SNB

SWISS: Barclays in a research note sees a prospect for the SNB to raise
its current euro-Swiss flooor from Chf1.2000 to Chf1.2500 over the next
quarter citing that,
- the SNB has faced relatively little challenge to the Chf1.2000 floor
so far, despite it trading extremely close, and some trades having
taken place marginally below it on 5 April.
- The floor has achieved several of the SNB's goals: it has loosened
Swiss monetary conditions and reduced the volatility and positive
correlation with risky assets of the CHF.
- But the Chf remains very expensive relative to the SNB's, and our
judgement of fair value. And Switzerland continues to face weak
growth and significant deflation. Further monetary easing is needed,
and the exchange rate is the only plausible way of achieving it.
- The very low recent volatility of EUR/CHF may also encourage
speculators who wish to challenge the floor, because they may view
risks to the upside as limited.

I am now long CADCHF so far doing good.
Still waiting for buy orders to fill.

Yes,you guys are right.. scalp is right way for atleast few months on this pair.. they will not intervene for no reason and its waste for some of traders to hold margins and cannot trade other pairs.

I took decision last month to come out of it from long my position at 1.2028 with loss of 23 pips
But I scalp this pair to make same and hold zero position now.. so reduce slowly and make same profit to breakeven was the strategy

Sitting for intervention with high leverage may not be good.. but with low leverage yes..

Eurchf, what a dead pair.
However, we can still consider the fact that time is not a fixed variable especially on financial markets.

If we look at the chart eliminating the time component, we can see something that may be interesting.

For example, the volume.
We see, the volume pattern changed drastically after the peg estabilishment, with spikes of volume everytime price approached the 1.20 support area.
This can show that, if we remove the time component, the pair looks still alive, with high volumes being traded.

Is the pair died?
Absolutely no.
The pair is just sleeping.

Excellent chart. However I would not say sleeping. It looks like trench warfare to me.
