I think thats trading..different opinions...If everyone thinks alike no one loose or gains.
Well.. my views are long term franc will weaken with time..if Euro able to hold which is very big "if" no one knows..

Swiss are crooks when it come to money and they will not make retailers rich like this.. so they can try to hold for some time.. But not forever otherwise.. it wouldn't have fallen to these levels at all...

DislikedDouble bind is, they can't do anything without making anybody "rich" (I've got my doubts, if retailers on the long side really get rich). But if they let the peg be broken, big players on the short side probably actually are getting big money rather than retailers with their ridiculous long positions.Ignored

DislikedThis is the market, whenever price move in one direction there are people that make money and people that loose money, it's actually impossible for a market to move from one point to another and nobody make or loose money.
Looks like the SNB is the only "captain" of this market at this moment, they are the ones who can move it (directly or indirectly).
Said this, their mandate and their purpose is not about play the trading-game like investment funds or private traders do, their purpose is to assure that the swiss economy get benefit from their...Ignored
