Ok, here is how actually i see the whole eurchf thing.

1) the snb put the floor at 1.20.

2) the market try to estabilish a new uptrend, however the sell pressure on eurchf (chf buy pressure), the pair start ranging on the top (1.24-1.25 area) for a while trying to go up, but no way.

3) at this point it go down again, in the 1.2050 area, supported by a constant flow of buyers that see the floor 50pips away, and start to buy from this area.

4) the market remain in this range for relatively long time, where on the upside the sellers want to push it down to 1.20 to find new volatility (to break the floor, or to reach the lowest point, the floor).

5) after a long fighting, the sellers manage to put the pair down to 1.20, where snb stand ready to support it.

6) at this point, there are only 2 possible scenarios:

a) the floor break and we see the downtrend resumed, targeting initially the 1.000 area.

b) the floor work as the lowest point, and from here the market make a new bullish leg, targeting the first relevant resistance at 1.3250.

Here we are, with the pair at 1.2026 still on a support-range (1.2000-1.2030), we will know in a few weeks/months how things are developed, to me i repeat this kind of situations in the market are very rare and can be very rewarding (and can also be very dangerous of course).

Questions whether it would not make more sense to keep market participants on their guard by intervening from time to time within a 1.2050/1.2175 trading range, say, which would keep more uncertainty in the market. "We do not doubt the SNB's commitment to the ceiling and we are of the view that the central bank will successfully defend it in the near future, but we have not been impressed by the recent ceiling management," it added. calm down..it's not even at 1.203...in 1 sec it can be 1.20 like the last time when peg was broken. Around 1.205-1.206, you can say the situation is stabilized somehow. From 1.203 will be resistance from short positions...let's see
