it has happened some months before to me for a milisecond in usdnzd. it happened to wacth it live. other brokers didnt have such a move about 100pips and back for less than second.

i was lucky and it hit profit, then return price to normal and bought again.
of course i didnt say anything to my broker and never found it.

is very possible your broker will correct it and return your funds.

BTW I use MT4

After conversation they restore my settings. Everything is back as before this event. Thank you guys!

Everybody think that when Thomas Jordan will be elected, the EURCHF will rise. But i dont think so. The SNB will not spend money for us,

No, I think the EURCHF will rise BEFORE the election. There will be a lot of roumors, speech etc. I would like to close partially, when it happen.

On March this was the same: 110 pip spyke before the SNB meeting, and fall down.

The question is: how big the spyke will? 1.2060? 1.2100? 1.2150? 1.22? or other?

i dont believe it will spike up before jordan will be elected. but if it does, it wont go higher than 10-20 pips. we wont reach 1.21 for sure. getting significantly higher from this level can only be with an intervention from swiss.

I think there's a main additional point here, we are in the same boat - those who are long - with Swiss politicians and industrialist, whose little kid is the SNB president.

I dont know, but remember on march 15. Everybody said it could go to 1.2070 only or 1.2080. But it went to 1.2150. So you never know. If there is a chance, that permanent president will be elected within a few days, with strong goverment support: in this situation a rumour, like peg raising has much stronger effect. Total other situation, then interim president say that. And i am sure, there will be a lot of rumours. It is free for SNB for a while

why would the snb NOT intervene yesterday (easter sunday) probably some bs politics about the other banks. We saw them intervene last week with one billion euros and it only moved it 30 or so pips. why wait when u can push up the floor with no problem and have it stay that way because of the holidays; national banks would be closed. BIG MISTAKE for the SNB. In my opinion, they could have got a lot more done with a lot less money. Now im starting to become skeptical

Not everything is easy to explain, we dont know what they are planning, maybe there are internal debates about raising the peg so it has no sense at all to intervene right now.
Maybe they want to elect a president first and then intervene to give him more power and credibility. There are so many things we cant see, and maybe they just dont want to waste money for big interventions, but they only want to keep it above 1.20 as long as possible and just defend the floor, till it raises from its own power.
In my opinion we are not going to break the 1.20 in the coming weeks or months, the currency pair is going to make a bottom and then start rising. We just shouldnt expect this to happen in one day, give it some time. One thing for sure is the election, its a key event in the coming days, this could move the pair to the upside.
One big advantage is that the pair didnt break the 1.20 through the easter weekend as many expected, this is a good sign for stability.

It looks like that we wont see Japan style splash intervention, that could be easily hammered back. Quite obvious that interim president was a "lame duck". Besides Jordan has a perfect professional background - look at his CV -, for sure he has something in the toolbox to build up a reputation.
