Comeon i understand the emotional involvement with high leverage, but actually the floor was never be broken. The break was pure bullshit, the FX market is NOT a centralized one, so this kind of things can happen, but i agree let the pair go on a 30pips (now even worse!) from the floor is not a good defend strategy, but we cannot judge the snb strategy as we don't know it.

I dont know. But we dont know what could do Jordan if he is the president. Now he is only temporary, and the board has only 2 member, instead of 3 (Jordan, Danthine). So it is not the same situation, than he is permanent president, with goverment support, and full board members.

That's why i said i will close half of my long, if we could see a short covering before friday, and the other half longs stop will be only 20-50 pips

there was rumour that the financial or eco minister can be the new president ..
i dont remember which one of them ..
but it is almost sure that Jordan will be...

and important that the goverment/parties support to lift the peg

price of breakeven 1 month expiry for straddle is 110pips, for puts 55

does anyone really thinks that at this price anything serious will happen?

Short covering? Over 90% of traders on this pair are long so there's a much higher chance of there being a long covering!

In Forex, if it looks too good to be true it most likely is!!

damn...sounds terrible...maybe it worth to sue if its adversely affected u. this is clearly sl hunting, not else, i suppose they increased the spread.

I did not have stop loss... I already wrote them there must be some kind of system error.

I just hope they did not rob me. In that case what could I do? Could someone help me with this situation?

I don't know why each times Mr. Hildebrand speaks or comments, the CHF weaker, but with Mr. Jordan is inverse , the CHF is stronger. This happens before mr. Hildebrand resigned and last until now.
I don't know why the Swiss government to spend more than 3 months to select the SNB President. The selection of central bank President is not general election like national assembly election. No need to take much times, because in fx delay costs very much.
Mr. Jordan really does not have enough support from government, but he must get the support by his action. Can not wait and see the support given by government or political parties. The support came always after the result. But there is one result, the floor eur/chf goes step by step to floor and underground.
3 months to test his ability is not enough, for you? we must see him more by 1 year or 2 year. I think he should change the policy or resign and let the competent person to do it

a bottom is being built. thats very good, the short term bearish momentum is taken out.
now when jordan is going to be elected in the coming days, this will give the market some confidence. lets see if he has a surprise for us in the bag, you cant rule out a rise of the peg, to show that he has balls.

it takes long time because it is a position of trust. snb is not that indenpendent from the swiss government as they wanted to show it.

to be honest, he was an interim first person during the last 3 months, i can easily imagine that he hadnt all the opportunities as he would have been elected as a president.
