DislikedThere were some barriers at 1.2025 that got hit. Traders had to sell their delta hedges because of that. In addition, given that so many dealers/hedge fund managers were on their Easter Breaks, the market simply got caught off guard.Ignored
QuoteDislikedWhen in doubt stay without . I can see rivers of blood in the making here. I am out and keeping distance from this pair until/if it gets to 1.189x then load small longs at 50 pip intervals to the downside.
The SNB has lost their credibility already , the floor has been broken.
Dislikedall right,
This thread members kinda reminded me of USDJPY thread,
Like The BOJ,Japan Gov dont allowed this and that level, the export suffered blah blah blah...some members angry because they keep long with "Hope" the central bank would step In and guess what ? the price keep falling for 3 year over...and now the USDJPY keep climbing and members busy looking for short but it still climb and climb...lolz...and again come another BS that said dont compare SNB and BOJ...Its not about Fed,BOJ,ECB or SNB...its about market!
as usual,history repeated...Ignored

Absolutely correct. There's no excuse for penetrating that level for more than a second !!
How the hell can these mess stay MORE THAN A MINUTE (do they sleep in Switzerland ???) under 1.20 EVEN if they have 10000 LOts got hit through by hedge or whatever ??
IF they REALLY would support that crap they would defend it in a second by breaking down. they did not. Nothing more to say.
be prepared: If level get broken the market will slump at least to 1.1850 in worst case may be 1.17... in minutes !

DislikedYeah that's why we've seen 1.20 being re-tested time and again. Oh right, we haven't... As I've said earlier, there is no way SNB will let Switzerland down, that goes for all the companies and that goes for their government. You have no idea what hell it'll release if SNB let it go. If you care to read a bit, you'd see it was due to technical hindrance that it penetrated 1.2 and not because they just let it do so. For SNB to lose credibility it should have closed below 1.2, it didn't and it wont, not before SNB releases the peg in an official statement....Ignored
