how did we learn that today? SNB did get involved so I see no problem. Maybe problem for those that set their stop loss above 1.1990. like me ...

i think u r right with this strategy in 99% but on sept 6th, in a very strong bearish trend u should have been f**d up if u sold. i think this is a same story now

I am would only discuss technical or chart...Lolz

No expectation,Hoping,Intervention,Central Bank or whatever...ask this in yourself,how many members lose money for keep long USDJPY before because expect intervention coming ? Just stick with the chart and chart and chart again...then you would survive in this business for longterm unless you guys only want catch 'Intervention' Money hit and run only

bear engulf on Daily,market already tested the 1.20 barrier...lets see whats happening later

Good point on the USDJPY - happen to be short, so I am biased. But at least the EURCHF bulls know that the SNB is doing something, unlike the BoJ which would spend months trying to "talk" up the USDJPY before actually intervening.

1.20 just break,doesnt mean you can long now..market just give a tested...and price going up for for tens pips over immediately,that doesnt mean its a long sign,Its a trap

no need hurry if you wanna long,do not afraid for miss a long spot,patient and be safety as the market is very hungry today

I don't know why SNB doesn't chase big sharks stops who are short..to be more aggressive. With those stops they can annihilate even all the retail exits profits.
From what I see actually : SNB long orders are around 1.195-1.20 (as support), and the sharks are around 1.20250-1.20260 on short (as resistance).

i am totally agree with you , if it manage to break barrier it might make brutal move , s/l could be executed 30 ~ 200 pip away.

this is my first time posting in forex factory.
i just wanted to mention that on EBS system it posted as low as 1.1990. however, this is the unofficial rate. the official rate is 1.2000. so, this means that any stoplosses placed with banks are not filled. also, SNB orders are still not filled which is equivalent to 9 yards(billion) eurchf.
in my opinion, 9 yards is a small amount compared to the amount of short position sizes that the market is already in. we might see a huge slippage eventually, which will force SNB to intervene on levels other than 1.200, maybe 1.19 or 1.18....

Stop read the fakking news now anything about SNB,BOJ or China Bid here and there...because when you read that SNB comment this or that then you will keep bidding,lets said...if this price keep falling...then who you are gonna blame ? The news ?

I agree 100% with you. Utter bullshit. What the "go short" idiots do not understand is that SNB will lose all credibility not only to the world but much much worse to the export companies within Switzerland. There is no way in hell they will let it fall lower than they did today, especially as long s they are so adamant in their announcements. Do you shorties really think they'd f*ck up the export companies within Switzerland. I guarantee you that will not happen.

u r totally right in technical side, any of the charts would behaviour as u say it, but u also know that, here it is a special one, not moves by the news or datas but the hedge funds and the snb. until snb say they dont support the peg any more, or until i'll see that the peg has broken - and when i say broken i mean we r at least on 1.19800 - i'll trust the snb. maybe i am wrong, but in fact, i have no choice and i want to believe they r trustworthy.

Oh oh oh, i just come back and see the floor did get tested/broken, what a delusion.
We will not tollerate any activity below such floor, we will buy unlimited quantities bla bla bla, what can i say, their utmost determination looks to be not soo utmost, and the unlimited quantities looks not to be soo unlimited.

At this point, we may or not may see other downmoves, to me the snb have lost the game, my advice to buyers is to stop to hope/belive to an imaginary intervention anytime soon, this intervention thing is starting to show it's real face, B.S.
