hardly..i placed 17k into trading account..if it went well id have tried..i was unemployed at the time..so many would say i was full time

but i make the distinction: Did i depend on a income from trading to live..HELL NO!!

thats the difference..and i was swinging even back then..after this trade if successfull..hopefully i can make 20k a year with job..after 2 years perhaps be in a better position..however i trade because i like it..not because i need money!!
maybe why i appear patient

What kind of pip targets? Just ball park if dont mind me asking? I swing trade also but not sure of definition.

well well.. seems like we might have a breakout on the asc TL and now below 6000 price.. will wait for 4h closed before deciding on pyramiding..

intraday 100 pips average..risk less than 1% in account
average 2k pip per month

I found swing trading offered the same number of pips as if i was scalping..but scalping was hard work..thats why i stopped scalping

Maybe, perhaps a market order after 15min candle close, who knows. I wasn't referencing this trade, just making reference to Smikes use of stop orders if my post is read correctly.

but i can trade anything really as i have a system which rely on price moment without indicators

this current trade and completely messed up my stats..in terms of time trade duration and DD
my AVERAGE TRADE TIME WAS 3-7 DAYS B4 THIS (sorry for caps)

maybe so.. frankly i don't know his general trading methodology..

anyway, hopefully cable can get to 1.6 again before going to 5950..

Just to clarify I would often place a sell stop order below the break out candle, if the bar is not too big, does not retrace too much and if the price is not moving too fast. In other words, the order is picked up if the price continues downward. I have heard these called limit orders and brokers differ in their definitions. I rarely place a market order.

Just for information, I did not take today's short. It filled some of my criteria but not all.

i also was thinking about this short..always easy after..1.60 bound to test..but sometimes it not so easy..still the 4hr will close a retest of 1.6 may provide u an opportunity..
