I am short and with Pimco buying the dollar and Spain's trouble's I would think we would head down a lot quicker....but we have some big time support here and the run up still seems to have some legs.

I can't help but agree here. It just keeps on chugging north against the tide. There must be a reason for this.

you're a funny bugger bro
Fundamentally though, my general thought is the USD is gradually losing it's shine in favour of Gold since the US is in the economic clappers big time and I honestly don't think they will have any choice but to keep printing. China will continue to hedge this weakening dollar with Gold buys since they hold so much US debt. Any comments on this? I have my own private thoughts about China and the future.

I am tending to the bbq right now....but in short. USA is turning the corner - USD strength has been showing for a while now. USA debt as a ratio of GDP is lower the Japan and I believe Germany which are the other big boys on the GDP block - USA did things out of the gate with QE1 and QE2 where Britian and Euro lagged....remember when Trichet was increasing rates last year while USA was lowering and easing......well it is now Euro and Britians turn to ease more......USA is moving forward - Britian and Euro are at a stand still and slowly moving backwards....watch for Aud GDP tonight and China numbers as well.....then we have Britian retail sales tomorrow.....
