personally if im short biased i want a hourly and h4 close below 1.5660 otherwise... the resistance upside immediately will be where GBPUSD double topped out at 1.5720
we are in a very tight range... blame it to the consolidation we are in, the longer we stay in range the tighter the range'll become...

i'm short biased also, but if you're trading intraday, you have to be flexible unless you're a swing trader.. As i said, the price will have retracement, see.. i'm not saying change of trend.. if it goes that far, it will only be a retracement, not a change in the trend..

Yeah just saw that, please take anything I say in here with a grain of salt. You will know when I am being serious when I type more than 10 lines. When I really have something to say I try to be thorough as seen in my posts today. It is easy to spot my serious and not so serious.

as i said earlier, i would like to see price retrace to 5790/5800 area or if the bulls is not strong enough perhaps to 5750 which is the 38% retracement from the high 5990 to the low of 5600 area.

if the price only goes to 5750, i reckon it still won't be able to break the support, imho more momentum are needed to break the support..

Exactly. It's a diamond reversal pattern. Occurs at the end of an uptrend or downtrend. Price consolidates within a diamond shape, breaks out, retests once or twice and then reverses.
