i rarely seen this kind of thing in GU.
when she did.... after that she shooted huge pips in no time.
straight move even no 20 pips retrace till end of the day.

I'm not too surprised with fitch's decision but need to take their decision with pinch of salt yet again... we all know fitch is a US based rating agency.... they might just downgrade outlook of UK just for the fun to get a stronger USD...

but atleast they did it at a sound time, when UK IS suffering from decreasing trade with Major European Countries like Germany, France, Italy, Spain etc etc over the Debt Crisis issue PIIGS have been causing...

One more post that shows how little you know about economic fundamentals.

Do tell me what a huge deficit/high unemployment country like the US would gain from a strong currency? Even you should know that a stronger USD will make US exports dearer in the world market and make imports cheaper. This will only exacerbate the underlying structural problems.

Few years back, I was part of a team at a global US firm that shifted high tech equipment manufacturing from factories in US and UK to China, Hungary and Mexico resulting in huge job losses. Strong exchange rates played a big part in those decisions. I still feel the pain of those people who were made redundant.

The reality is that no western government wants a strong currency until the current economic issues are resolved, which is going to take some time to sort out. Until then you will see most western currencies to remain weak but stable.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see cable break south of that channel for a steep but steady fall similar to this years rise from 5230.

Here is one for all u guys out there tonight.....

What would u do?

On holidays - March break out of town visiting wife's family.

At the hotel we have a King suite - two separate rooms....the bedroom area has the bed and the main bathroom and a 5 foot tall dresser that is about 4 feet wide solid wood with a 42 lcd tv on top of the dresser.

My son (3 years old) this morning pulled a couple of drawers out to find his clothes.....the dresser fell forward and the T.V. came crashing down along with the huge dresser and amazingly he only got a bump on the side of his head. This dresser should have been tethered to the wall!!!! I called the manager up because the 42" lcd was smashed and wanted to tell them what happened. The response I got from them was oh don't worry about the TV as longs as no one was really hurt. When I told them my son had a goose egg on his head and a pressure cut from either the dresser or TV they did not say anything!!!

Still here for another night and day - What would you all do?

At this time, GBPJPY is still in an uptrend and appears to be "consolidating" above former resistance . There is a possibility that USDJPY is at or near a resistance level and may drop. If that were to be the case, in order to continue the GJ uptrend, I would be looking for a significant upmove in GU. Soon.

That's a basic expanding triangle. Sometimes called a "trombone" pattern. Extremely common in GJ, not so much in cable.

Comprises either 3 or 5 "legs". When those moves are complete, price moves back to the top/bottom trend line, usually retraces 50% and then continues on.
