I'm sorry but I have to disgree once again.

A successful defence of 1.2000 shows that the SNB could in theory defend a higher floor.

But I don't want a higher floor, I want the EUR to gain against the Franc on it's own accord. It would also be nice if the pair could detach itself from the USD/CHF. This could confirm some EUR strength.

If this rally keeps going, we are going to see some heavy CHF selling, if we're not seeing it now. We're now at the first big resistance zone by 1.2115-1.2130

Yeah the snb could even defend 1.5 if they really want.

If Swiss economy improves then there is no economical reason for a higher peg. That's the reason.

... and although I am flat most of the time I like this move, too.
I need the volatility to scalp it.

After a long waiting the pair seems to be waking up from his sleep.
It is still too early to call this the beginning of the big movement we all are waiting for, however from a tachnical perspective, for now, seems like that this CAN be the beginning of such prophetic move.
Let's see how the market go in the next days, and let's also see what news comes tomorrow from the snb.
Good luck to all! This will be remembered (i hope so) as the only time where retails and big traders bought a market low, while market makers sold it low.
Oh yeah, situation like this happened also in gold and silver eheh.
