i'm amazed by how quiet this thread can be during the weekend when the market is not moving.. i suppose weekend is the time to formulate the trades that will be executed next week.

Perhaps, a lot of us formulate the strategy to confront the market on the fly..

Just want to point out how useful the 4hr chart is for trading. Cable gives plenty of warning of turns. No point trying to jump in straight away hoping you caught the bottom/ top. Wait and relax until the train is ready to leave. You can enter trades with high R/R ratio, which is always the key to sucess. Same for the exits hold until the market tells you to leave.

lol.. thanks mate, anyway i'm expecting some senior members could provide their homework regarding the market for next week in the terms of technical analysis. better to have disagreement during this period of time rather than to have it while the market is moving.

by the way, due to the price moved so fast towards the support during last day of trading and stops at about the support level seems like indicate that we might have one or two retracement(s) before it can manage to break the support. the higher the retracement the better as long as it does not invalidate the last week's high.

as i said earlier, i'm expecting a retracement to up to 5775 but i would be cautious and will closely look for reversal/exhaustion sign once the price reaches 5740-5775/80 price level, hopefully we can see 4h consolidation at the about the support level to further confirms this theory.

Well said, one thing to note, my 4HR chart looks a little different to yours, I think my chart ends/starts a 4hr candle 2 hours earlier or later than yours.

also this pair has dropped below the 50sma and 200 sma.

But it's sitting 20 pips above the 4hr 400SMA, which, in turn, is exactly at the lower trend line
