Ironic as you say despite GBP's isolation from the Eurozone... you do need to realise UK banks did take some money from the EURO's LTRO scheme... they are not as isolated as you think... if EURO dies... UK suffers along... Known fact my dear friend....
We live in a global village. Nobody is completely insulated. When one economy suffers, everyone else suffers along with it. GB is no exception. But comparing to other countries that are in EU, GB, relatively speaking is more insulated. I didn't say GB is completely insulated, I just said they are insulated a bit.

Anyway, just my opinion.

Anyone notice the hidden 4 hr bullish divergence?
Watching to see if price comes back down to 5645 to produce some classic bullish divergence also.

lets see if she plays the scenario. at least it need go higher before the rate announcement and Greece bond swap deadline later tonight, 8pm GMT.
just in case something came up negatively and push her down.

oh the ironies... in the world if anyone is most correlated to the EUR is the GBP... definitely wont be the USD... defo wont be the CNY... defo wont be the JPY, if theres any country thats the least insulated from the EURO crisis its the Great Britain... wana know why?
in order for Great Britain to remain attractive in the EuroZone, their interest rates are always lower than that of the EURO... so tell me... if their interest rate is lower, and they fail to attract people into lending money to (bank lending is a substantial part where a bank makes money) i wonder how are they going to survive??
They will have to lower interest rates even further... but will lowering interest rate really attract anyone to borrow money and invest in such a risk averse time in the market?? i hardly see any reason why anyone would go in debt right now for investment sake... when investments are tanking like crap...

IMHO, and im gona get support on this but GBP is the least insulated currency from the EURO situation compared to most of the world... the world dont really give a shit if Greece dies... the world is still using the USD as a medium of exchange... however over 50% of UK's trades are with Euro....
Its pure economic theory 101.... you got to realise how correlated and how LEAST insulated GBP is with the EUROzone matter...
