BTW, those aren't 3 dojis. Look at the picture on Investopedia and look at your chart again!

First candle is a long-legged spinning top. It would be a doji if the opening and closing price were the same, but it is not. Second candle is a hammer, but in its position and context on the chart, it doesn't represent anything. Finally, the third candle has not even closed yet on that chart of yours... it has now and certainly does not look like a doji.

On a day like today I am not surprised there is indecision. Remember, we have the last day of the month with a shedload of news. A day like today is only good for scalping, I say, but hey... each to their own!

We have made a new higher high on h1, now I expect a higher low... so yes a retrace is on the cards.

We will go down faller, you're just a little too early, maybe by a week or few before we start the big move down to 1.54. Well, that's how I am reading the weekly chart at the moment. Also look at UCAD for inverse correlation (well spotted smikester )

Big news out of USA in 10 minutes and 1.5 hours probably has a lot to do with it. By the way, my feed does not give me 3 dojis, just consolidation. For me, consolidation equals a break out trade opportunity, especially if the consolidation is prolonged, as in days. Take a look at USD/CAD which has just broken to the downside. 150 pip range in a month.

I'm waiting to see if International Swaps and Derivatives Association decide to debate further any decision regarding any CDS trigger. Apparently the markets will know where the ISDA stand come close of play this afternoon.

Today's LTRO has come in higher than forecast - but perhaps not unexpected - and we all know that Mario Draghi's previous statement that he wants banks to use this second hand-out to find its way into the business zone of Europe to be but a smokescreen. Nobody as sharp as this guy, and he is sharp, seriously thinks that the banks will just pass the funds on.

The first LTRO was used to fill deficit gaps in banks. The second will be used to improve the balance sheets more... and with 800 banks asking this time around - more than previously - one could infer that liquidity is still a major issue out there.

market futures are moving lower
usdx catching a bid up
yen is getting stronger
crude falling
euro did not recoup any of the losses after the ltro announcement....yet.....could be a turn around sometime today.
cable....well.....is it a follower or a leader today?

but remember - the market knows best.......but I have been short from this mornings pop after the LTRO announcement at 1.5850 and stop is set at break even already. Let's see what USA data brings!

I am sure this is a typo and you meant 1.5950. Positive US data and we are still bouncing around pushing higher... that's news for you! If you read between the lines, positive US data = risk on = dollar down... simples!

Indeed, if it breaks below 127.78 it will fall IMO.

Currently long @ 128.077, tp 128.36, quick scalp, SL at BE.

With the gbp/jpy I like to move sl to break even right away as I find it to be very volatile.

Closed @ 128.28, 20+ pips. If only I'd of left it, it touched my original TP nicely.
