Of course. Nobody knows. Looking at Monthly, however, maybe an appropriate chart to consider in light of the potential significance, see how the market now has the price in the area of the important business levels of no less than 5 extremely significant monthly candles. So sure, the market might indeed attempt even higher highs. Actually, I'd expect it if they are going to continue the bullish deception to sucker in longs right up to the end.

And, as I said earlier today, I could be all wrong about this. And it wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong, either.

Are you wrong or right it does not matter. You are experienced enough trader to give newbies a lot of details that they never know about when you describe the market situation even if you are wrong.

Analysing the candles on daily chart I see that we still have upside trend. (I do not attach the chart because it is not the SonicR system.) But you may see it by yourself.

Ofcourse this is only a humble opinion of one month trader...

Fib dates back 3 days ago - even before yesterdays ranging crap began.

Sorry to say , it does not matter what market does tomorrow/day after, what matters is whether you can make money now. Again your short bias from start of the week is proving wrong and the whole week wrecking trades.

Thats why I feel this is a good system, but bringing a subjective bias by looking at news, volume, own judgement will in long run make this system subjective. If we have to be subjective in trading why have rules for a system. Again BAIS, BAIS BAIS is a killer for any system. ?

All the short bias really defeated all the good long signal which this system gave today, price has just gone around 400 pips since the start of the week up

I am sorry if it feels rude, but as a reader I feel the system is good except the subjective analysis kills it.

Learn to trade the price action or setups for yourself - no matter what bias other people have. However I do agree with you that since he is the most frequent poster on this thread, most traders and espcially newbie traders might/tend to follow his speculative bias on the market behavior.

I like to read his stories though, because I have been long enough in this business and can easily dicifer where he might be wrong or right.

My advice to you is - learn to trade one pair - know itīs inīs and outīs how the pair breathes, how itīs rythem is, s/r areas etc.

I have stalked the EUR/USD for five years and I donīt trade it if itīs not where I want it. I let it come to me - not the other way around. I donīt chase my trades.

1. Don't rush your entry.
2. Realize that strong PA, even for just a single candle, frequently results in a pullback, usually up to 50% but it could be more or less.

Sonic R. rules say to place TP a few pips beyond the end of that candle. That means you need to wait for that candle to complete, and for subsequent PA to pass the end of it. That could be on the next candle, or it might take any number of additional candles before PA passes the end...

babetko, what TAH said here is something I done entering many times when seeing One Long bar just crossing the dragon, so happily and quickly jump in to enter.
Most times after this long bar, it does reverse or pullback, and then hit SL.
Better to wait for a short or average bar to cross the dragon to enter.

TAH, why is this week so difficult to trade? There are high impact USD news releases each week so what makes this week so special. That the news releases are not causing any notable movements? I'm rather confused.

Every week, trading can be difficult.
It is not due to the high impact USD news this week, don't think there was anything special in terms of USD news this week.
Normally, would still see NFP and FOMC to have more whipsaw impact than any other normal scheduled Red news.

The only real special news this week is the so called agreement by the EU Finance ministers on the Greek Bailout.
This was the main catalyst for this week.

Next week it will be something different or another news.

I would agree on this wholly when I do follow the Classic SonicR.
Just damn hard to follow Classic SonicR all the time, and get side tracked with other ideas; our bias; other peoples' bias; high impact news; and chasing the holy grail.

the pa cross the dragon..n it pulled back more than my Sl, even it before it hits near my Tp.

E/U reached a monthly low 1.2620 in mid Jan-12, then on 16-Feb-12 a nice swing low 1.2975.

Since this week Mon 20-Feb, there was a Gap up AFTER a recent swing low, and so far this week this gap has not fill.
Noted that all the gaps from mid-Jan till 17-Feb been closed within 1-2 days.
Whether this gap will fill over this coming weekend is uncertain.

Currently this Gap after the recent swing low looks for like a new beginning of a runaway/breakaway gap.

If my analysis of this runaway gap is correct, this means price will not come back to this gap for a longer period, and price should continue going up until perhaps there is another gap that could be an exhaustion gap.

Then again, I may change my opinion next week if this gap is closed.

You can see that I don't have any bias at all on E/U.
