Thats why im a bit more cautious not at London open but US open... like any Friday of the week... the Profit taking flow at the end of the US session is somewhat unpredictable...
and US open is wehre i see most of the activity for today...

Thank you. I'm fine but shouldn't be wasting time posting here. Flatfish is right, there's not much to trade here today - maybe a sell stop under this hourly consolidation - but I did add a short EUR/GBP under the bearish hourly candle straddling .8300 which is a big number there.

Flatfish! Post more please...

Cheers buddy... lets not pinpoint who it was... but hey... green pips to all and good luck to you too, just be patient until some obvious movements happens, big boy's been playing around with the GBPUSD at the start of the week...
didnt make sense at all when GBPUSD moved up this week... correlation with the Equities were completely gone and movements are just not making sense...
ridiculous to long any risk pairs this week anyways...

Absolutely its a great time to lose money trading the market where it is now. Don't post too much as getting tired of cable price action. I remember cable trading 200-250 pip daily as its norm. Was easy to get on a trend and make good pips, but now intraday cable makes you work for it- you need 5 trades to get you the same pips.

Indeed... i've been pretty patient too... waiting for the UJ to actually move up, been long UJ at around 76 for some time now... glad its about to take profit at 79 soon... but my ultimate target is 80 then 82...
GBPUSD... well the last 3 days.. the movements of the GBPUSD didnt make sense at all.. when GBPUSD moved up equities didnt follow the normal behaviour... corelations were whacked... soo i knew big boys were playing some games...

BTW... Where in Uk are you Flatfish??

I live in Northamptonshire. Gold still proves profitable, when a good setup long appears, but current gold chart pretty flat to slightly bearish. I look for gold and aussie to confirm either a reversal or continuation of dollar strength. Otherwise hard to trust cable when it goes on its own.

Uh oh... what happened lol... Jobless claim in US Fell... i wonder if that has to do with the fact that NFP published earlier this month created a lot more jobs than expected... hence a lesser people unemployed as we see..
i say... Dollar Strength, dollar strength and dollar strength indeed...

watchout for the kneejerk reactions though... GBPUSD spiked up for a moment there cuz people are covering their longs, closing their longs so that they can go Bullish the Dollar...

Dollar bull is obvious everywhere now... watch your asses... Dollar bears...
