1150 GMT [Dow Jones] There will be an upside to the British pound if the Bank of England announces Thursday GBP50 billion in asset purchases, instead of GBP75 billion, according to Barclays Capital. A GBP50 billion increase would take the total of the BOE's asset buys to GBP325 billion. Barclays Capital says the MPC clearly signalled that an extension is needed if the bank wants to avoid undershooting its inflation target of 2%. BarCap adds that improving data from the UK recently made a GBP75 billion expansion unlikely, although it notes that around 30% of forecasters expect a GBP75 billion boost. "Because of this, we believe the risks for GBP/USD are slightly skewed to the upside for today's announcement," BarCap says. GBP/USD trades at 1.5840.([email protected])

I wasn't calling it, just trying to explain why another trader was looking for 5745 before resuming up move.

I like H&S by the way, but not in this situation
