Yes, my thinking too...but seem not easy as many sell order will be waiting up there.

The sentiment has changed: below the trendline it was "Sell the rallye", above the trendline now is "Buy on dip". And we have a new raising trendline. If it keep, we could go to 1.22 or 1.23 without intervention.

I might be wrong, but personally, I think that as long as the currency is floating around the market, it can go to any price although pegged, except they are implementing same mechanism that Malaysia used during 1998 Asian currency crisis against US dollar.

From wikipedia,

"Between 1995 and 1997, the ringgit was trading as a free float currency at around 2.50 to the U.S. dollar, before dipping to under 3.80 to the dollar by the end of 1997, following the year's East Asian financial crisis. For the first half of 1998, the currency fluctuated between 3.80 and 4.40 to the dollar, before Bank Negara Malaysia pegged the ringgit to the US dollar in September 1998, maintaining its 3.80 to the dollar value for almost seven years, while remaining floated against other currencies."

More important is y/y CPI data. Here we have again worse data - drop to -0.8%. This is the largest rate of decline in prices since October 2009, when prices also fell by 0.8% annually

If greece fails hell amount of money will be converted from euro to franc and other currencies, no floor will work !
