I think for GU to go substantially higher we're going to need a healthy pullback...Usually for the stronger trends the 38 fib is a good place to look. We break down out of this triangle I'd be looking there. If dollar catches a bounce I'm looking back to the 81 area.

hi Faller,
you need to analyse your chart also using the monthly, which has stronger power than the monthly, and trade off the 4 hr..yes, they will be a down move, but this is mostly going to be a retrace...

swings upside down or downside up any ok . only the crazy rull may be applied as such . the more the crazy up if try the more the chance it fail so easy & may be forever . so whatever follow natural rules of a movement to be stable & do something if possible , the reversal !! 100 yeards long to go still !

Hello and thanks for your advice......but I do look at different time frames. I always look at the weekly and daily (never really look at monthly much) - After looking at the weekly and then zooming into the daily - I watch 3 different time frames for my intra day trading. I am not a long term trader - does not suit my personality or style. I trade Price Action throughout the day based off of the information I see on the weekly, daily and then watch the hourly through the day and look for my entry and exit on smaller time frames.

Again thanks for your advise - I hope the information I provided gives you a little insight as to how I trade. We all trade a little different.....

Monthly is just stupid, no useful information from that at all unless your a long term investor who holds for 12months+ forget it, got to shorter TF's, forget weekly to, Try M15 with a 1000ema and 540lwma you'll see the trend which counts clearly there and it's tradeable rather than pie in the sky.
Nothing to it, but to do it!!! Stick to the plan FOOL!!!!

That's a bit short sighted in my opinion. Monthly trends are powerful reference points for actual direction so you can make trading biase decisions on lower timeframes.
On another topic, I expect some drawdown on my stupid Friday afternoon trade, but looks like the green 60sma could be lining up with my TL soon so hopefully it will be respected

Probably break of TL but will watch PA pattern near it in case TL is not quite correct. I don't follow news anymore, does anyone know when the Greek deal is due? I am trying to only trade charts now so maybe best I don't find out.

Just a few weeks ago we were below the 100sma on every time frame, now we have broken above it on every time frame except the monthly (not sure we have CLOSED above the weekly yet). This is very aggressive and impressive

i think it will make it way to 1.6
1.65 i think is on 6 months thou average scenero (time wise)
i think the bottom is in place till 1.65 is reached..then it is possible that GU tanks..but obviously reaction needs to happen there for this to happen..

I am a new trader. Just traded couple of days. Managed to make a profit of mere £3.

I am reading all the guidelines and tips how to make money but it seems very elusive.

I noticed that the marked GBP/USD going up and down every day in a rhythmic manner.


Could anyone tell me that if it is wise to follow the rhythm and maka a move.

This M15 setup is working for me, pic and Template attached.


Buy near Red Lines or bottom of the range lower white line and we'll see how long it keeps going before we get a trend change.

Basically, go Long on pull backs and keep repeating don't try to guess when the trend will end or fight the trend so no shorting, don't use tight SL ( 60 here ) and don't be afraid to buy more if you miss time the bottom cause odds are it will turn.
