I am short GU as it is the strongest corellation with EU, and Euro will plummet if greek deafults . . this is looking likely as the troika would refuse to provide bailout money if greece doesnt hand over financial matters to germany, which greece has already outright refused . . which means that britain wont recieve there bonds they are expecting in march. .

These last 2 weeks have put the final nail in the coffin for any respect I had for the news. It's all hogwash, bullcrap, and should be given the financial finger. I'm not even going to take a fleeting interest in it anymore. Euro rallies on yet more sovereign downgrades???? Give it to 'em dry I reckon.

I'm not familiar with Lobo? In my head though, we have a long way to climb yet as indicated on my charts above. I am just wondering if he is expecting new lows in conjunction with a default?

Morning , happy weekend . yesterday checked gu chart & analysis as per I remember .

Continued bull crazy for last 10 days without almost any correction . bull set up at top still and even tried break up /bull continuation at daily resistance , weekly 100 sma close to close at last .that is untill otherwise prove like bo at 5727 , bo at 5715 as low as 5713 or bo at 5640 with confirmation 5628 with full correction down of the last leg up till 5233 bull intact .

so bull may continue at as high as 5727,5715/13 immediately , above 5640 or 28 next & last above 5233.last time it escaped this break limit 5628 as one iv and remain bull.
as closed at weekly 100sma close, no enough below or up , is not any good sign it may so direct , ranges remain in relation with weekly sma 100 as 5560 -5880 in bull & breaking mode that sma . other than this sma immediate resisance at 5789 weekly.

anyway if bull direct again without correction from above 2 levels as is in strong bull & already started bull set up to work and if hold over daily resistance , / 100 sma daily high level 5729 can easily take up to next resistance 5789 to 61.8% fib 5808 . the prevoius demand area to win at the same time in doing so . and as was in weekly channel & bo without win may to back in again with added turmoil or pullback whatever .
so untill & unless bull abort with a 5th failure as double top now or end b up to down contune, it is still bull in action . ( and all ez go downgrade to default / junk status before the US follow that status to down it again,as one easy indicator presently , all fun way !! )

usdx should at similay situation in relation to daily & weekly sma 100 and though in great breaking mode can take any bent/leg up/pullback to down continue .
so no jump before it jumps or dumps & may be followed with scalpings in advance of low profile & riskless ( low tp,sl & at be always ) type .
lets see .

After gains last week, I expect it will exhaust and we'll see a bit of a reversal this week. I'm picking short trades only for the next 2 days.

The daily 200ema at the 61.8 retrace looks a good target. Now that we have cleared a few descending TL's we might be ready to crack the resistance at 5779ish. If we can, then this can fly.

A major issue with this forum is that it is very easy for any discussion to descend into an outright trade of insults.

As many know, I spend many an hour on the fundamental side of trading, and have submitted numerous posts discussing such matters… well, hundreds, actually, over the past couple of years. Some I feel are on the mark, some transpire to be utter howlers.

I tend to avoid reading, listening or watching main stream media/state propaganda/vested interest in what to release to the public. And let’s face it, there is so much released on a daily basis, only to be changed the following day, that many argue that it is a deliberate move to keep the public confused.

I include myself in the following: to admit ignorance, and remain honest, is better than to feign knowledge, and be duplicitous.

, yes , not any bad idea it can easily breaks if wants to & ignore weekly sma 100 close as breaking it covers a good range of movement & why not first up while usdx has no bone presently & talking lots about defaults ez !
so break last demand level 5780 ok but all need see what actually doing , chart ok for this up almost immediately .
anyway specially gu has no choice than to try the most to up & continue to the best up because eu has has limit at down stop while gu no limit when the race start next time , daily , weekly, monthly sma 200 all upside , qqe monthly cross 50 there for long time now .

public will remain always confused , they see only what going now not next immediate or next or next . media speculate also in chance factor & may not any immediate effects or so but may takes years after year to take place if even right .

anyway they certainly improve our general sense what going on the background or at least alert us .

I hadn't actually seen the weekly 100sma Fontu. 2 strong bullish weekly candles, and I haven't seen pa reflecting a sell biase these last 2 weeks since coming off the 50 retrace. The 1hr TL just keeps getting steeper but may slow down this week. Looking to short off the 200ema off 58ish but not long term, still bullish overall

I do not disagree with what you state, Fontu. I would add that it is not the release, but the spin, that one must decipher.

The trick is always to understand the news behind the headline...

Right; the wife out for the day on the horse, so it's time for me and the boys to read the charts for a few hours.

Sorry, will not be shorting until 5990 50 fib from the top peak and decent resistance.
