Ok now that ive kinda gathered myself... I stayed up and traded the eupope session last night and after the 3rd rejection of 1.3050 I shorted for and got out of trades in green pips before NY session started. Now then after pending home sales had lil effect on market i shorted again 1.2967 thinking that we may get a test of 1.2880 before what i believed ( and still ) believe a rise to 1.32/ 50 area. But because i stayed up al night i feel asleep right before Fomc was released I was drooling on my desk... when i woke after my 1 hr nap to my surprise the market raped me! Yes i use stop losses for longer term trades but when i trade news events i dont for extreme fakey moves. Guess im trying to hard. Thank everyone who sent private msgs for input and excuse my Rant Now this may not hold much water after this episode but im looking for a test of oct 4 2011 low of 1.31452 and or nov 25 2011 low of 1.32113 to before shorting this pair again till then ill be buying dips for scalps. It seems counter intuitive but this stategy works, more than not, if your playing the news.

If your expecting POSITIVE short(sell) the market

If its NEGATIVE wait for the volume to slow down on the initial panic, and start BUYING as near the bottom as you can on the way back up.

A few people on this board will vouch for the veracity of this stategy.

Hmmm it's really twisted right now - this up move is only speculative one I'm still for down move, as long as price is below 1.3150, if it break above it then bias is changed

It's closing candles above 1.31 already now ! .

This could mean 1.33 or 1.34 very soon.

maybe some elliot wavers whe are probally now in a 6 wave moves the 5 a bit or 7 but thats now 5 or abc dont know

The euro daily downtrend had turned.

The daily now has the 3 white soldiers formation, a very potent bullish reversal pattern. I fully expect a test of the monthly pivot (3115) in the coming days before pausing temporarily. Clear that & this pair can easily climb another 400 to 500 pips.

And there you have it. 3115 test.

The D1 is about to close in 20 minutes & if the bullish look is anything to go by, I reckon this level will not hold & we're most likely to go much higher in a few days. Let's see how it goes.

Those with Gold holdings are going to come out well with a new gov't (US,UK) and those without it are going to be back to square one.

Countries are racing to get into gold (all those stories about selling gold was either a) they are dumb and don't understand what's coming which is hard to believe and/or were persuaded by someone smarter to sell their gold or b) The stories were fake, how do you know gold was ACTUALLY sold by a country?

Gold will always be an anti-inflationary hedge and it is only outperforming because of the greed that capitalism creates and encourages. Aslong as we are in thsi style of society and we are allowed to print money, GOLD WILL ALWAYS RISE.

Watch it over 2000 in a few months
