- first is scalping for 4-5-6 pips (long) It is good overnight, and when the range is small
- second is buying for 10-12-15 pips (long). It has more profit, but fewer times
- the second is buying 3-4-5 positions lower and lower, and close the highest in a good profit, when there is a spike/fat finger effect. When there is a bigger movement (200-300 or more pip) it close all position, and start again.

EUR/CHF recovered strongly from 1.2298 this week but is still bounded in familiar range so far, and thus, intraday bias remains neutral for more sideway trading. Recent price actions suggest that the consolidation pattern from 1.2472 is in form of triangle and might be finishing shortly

The short-covering in the EUR failed to affect EUR/CHF and we are not very far away from important support at 1.2050 and vital support at 1.2000. The SNB re-iterated overnight their intent to defend the 1.20 peg (but does that mean they will be on the bid at 1.2000 exactly or will 50/75 pips below be also ok?). Monstrous stops are also reported below 1.2000.






If everybody and their grandmother expects this thing to hold and eventually gain, does it mean it will happen? I still have two buy limits waiting, but ask myself if this is the right strategy. I don't like PA at all.

In reference to my previous post...
EURCHF just hit 18 weekly low @ 1.2056 ...as till now

IMO,
- Prolly we will see 1.2050 soon
- Next level to watch would be 1.2020.. move sub-1.2050 should be relatively fairly quicker.
- Its time for some action

P.S. As before, No shorts sub 1.2050 for me....not without any policy change or official peg removal/lowering talk (most unlikely at jordan's hand)

going to 1.205 very, very slowly.. seems to me that most traders are afraid of an intervention and keep their hands off

we need to consider snb also...since euro swiss is below 1.2060....

snb will intervene with buying alot of euro...should be carefull...

Yap But i do not expect he is going to 'do sth'
I still think we all have to wait till begining of February and new CPI data. I think only this can change the situation and force SNB to use its tools.
