I did not say "your system is a crap" I said "wrong description for v2 indicator, as the blue dots that are supposed to show repaints for the main indicator, repaint themselves as well."

Kinda simple isn't it? And no I don't think you have corrected yourself. Or said that I was right. Instead you have gone a different route of saying that I'm calling your system crap. And that it is too hard for me.

once, i saw you giving up. i'm so happy that you perused. making execution more precise.

but for your sake, don't give in to so much requests. just focus on what's important. we can just add those of the indicators ourselves. perhaps, soon we can create an EA for this system.

for us who do not have your brains, what we can contribute is to continue testing your work. and on that note, some 2 weeks ago, someone posted a "trading simulator" which we can either speed up or slowdown.

started sampling M5 since Oct3 using the simulator. i've just done 7 days. this maybe premature, but whenever v.7 alerts for either a bull or bear, i noticed that we should never take a sell/ buy signal that's "against" the alert. instead take the opposite of the signal . so one gets the bottom/top- most price and miximize pips. i.e, there's a bullish alert, one can wait 2-4 bars, make the position same as the alert ignoring the signal (opposite the alert). and unless there's a hi-impacting news, .0618 is a very consistent winner.

I learn it the hard way, I hope not everyone should experience what I've been through.

BTW, got 4 winners and 1 looser today. I think, I began to know to recognize a fake signal and when a swing will be there before moving in line with where the signal suggests. I'm done for the day, happy trading to all!

Nice system Eval! From now on, I don't need to look at the screen every time. Another thanks goes to LhDT, nice templates.

No worries! I just rely on Symphonie to help me and then follow the rules and I make out ok.

As to the abtrader....no worries......I am confortable in my own skin and no ego to bruise. I just get upset when people start talking without knowing what is going on and telling everyone this is crap because they know better and have not even read the thread. Besides I am not selling anything people can take it or leave it as that is their choice.

As you know I just recently found this thread and I'm really liking what I'm seeing, still demo-ing. Two of the fat trades after Frankfurt that RJ marked, well I was dumbfounded by the first but jumped on the second. The NY open had a sweet entry also. Then became some nasty price action, but if you were listening to the orchestra you didn't make any trades....

I've seen a few people run out of their own threads over the years due to frustration from posters like ab trader. These type people are not worth the effort of replying to and should just be barred from posting, benefits us all methinks

I took your lead an did a quick simulator test for the last few days on the 1 hour time frame using only the Matrix Indikator 1.7 trendline change to open and close position. Great results.

How did you test, around the clock or only the time eval trade? what lotsize did you use? static? or did you use ATR from Eval?

Hey bro,
In your post #4429 , you've adapted your trading style from the time you posted your M1 zip. I like your style and find it more closely suited to my own. Would you please share how your entry/exit criteria for these 4 trades changed? Thanks ( Muchas gracias!)

I trade on the simulator available here

I increase the default TP and SL to 150 on the Buy/Sell script .

If the trendline change I close per exit strategy #2 at profit or loss.

I just let trade run when in profit to target or trendline change.

If trendline change I close trade and go opposite. Thats all. Simple.

The simulator lets you control speed of test so is quick to finish.

Do another one later for longer period of time.

I used this simulator a couple of weeks ago,the W/L ratio was great on it. But I observed that these repainting indicators made on simulator different signals than on the real time chart.
So I think the only way is forward testing.
Maybe with combi matrix is a different situation, don't know...

Added :
- Stochastics current timeframe
- Stochastics higher timeframe
- Stochastics can trigger and exit trades
- Mail alert on signal
- Post signal into MT4 log
- Autorefresh (at every new bar) - Thanks to C.Jungen who firstly coded it.
- Arrows when signal (display still bugging I think)
- Vertical lines when signal (red for shot, blue for long, gray for close)

That V1.8 works on all timeframe except W1 !
This is because of the auto refresh. Every time there is a new bar, the indicators are refreshed (you won't see it, it's fast). That means you will always have a fresh signal. It doesn't mean it won't repaints but at least you will have "current" accurate one.

New params :
sendMailAlerts : true/false
AutoRefresh : true/false
Stochastics & StochasticsHTF : true/false (for the trigger)
StochExit & StockHTFExit : true/false (for exit)
ShowSR : true/false (hide the LEVEL box with S/R infos)
Stoch_timeframe : current time frame = 0
Stoch_high_timeframe : stoch higher timeframe
maxHistoryHours : Timelimit to set all values (for a trade) to zero
forceDeleteHistory : Force to set all values (for a trade) to zero, you need to do it per timeframe.
debug : true/false (don't use this, dev only)

Important things about V1.8 !
That indicators stores all variables for a trade within MT4 itself ! That means if you have a MT4 or computer crash or if you close MT4, next time you will open it, all previous stored values will be restored. This for all timeframes and all pairs.

All default values are set.
Trigger : is set on all 4 amigos + Extreme in higher timeframe, current and higher stochs and Heikin Ashi candle (all need to point same direction)
Exit : is set to current high spike.

These values probably needs to be optimized, please do some tests and post your findings. Once we've found the best settings, that indicator can be turned into an EA.

I tried the simulator 2 months ago with the indicators from post one.
It didn't work very well at all.

Todays test was just with MI v 1.7.
You see the graph. Maybe just got lucky. I know MI is same as original indi's + (I think ?) lol

It seemed like less problem because I disregarded the repaint of everything except trendline....which I noted did repaint a little....

Need to do more test for longer time frame and different time periods.

What really irrates me is that the Matrix also repaints, basically voiding it's worth.

Sure is some heavy duty confirmation, the original HTF confirm was simply the next HTF(15) price was above the ST line. That should at least be in there methinks
