The told you so - a week ago guy being me... am no heroics, just plain old swing trade analysis leading the way here... GBPUSD has cleared fib resistance at 5360
Next H1 and H4 close below this point would give signals for bearish continuation towards next fib support at 5270 (where im considering to Cover shorts since that is the support where it found strength to rally in 06/10/2011)

Actually it aint hard to predict this week last week, since theres litereally no fundamental improvements in EURO and simply looking how the world reacts to a bad EURO fro the last 2 month or so, we can see Dollar is benefiting from EURO weakness...
Keeping a close eye on USDX at the same time to make sure im not making some shitty trade but hell im glad the USDX found a support hard to break last night... ill be posting pics on my GBPUSD short positions soon...

Red Fibs - Primary Bear fibs
Blue Fibs - Primary Bull fibs
Grey Fibs - Interim Bull fibs

Last week one of my trades did well, a short from Red 61.8% took profit on a support Grey&Blue 100% on hopes of poor euro leading to a risk aversion towards dollar strength
The further break below that 100% gave me interest at the Red 100%
I've been shorting on fail to break above Grey 61.8% , further added to the short position by shorting at Grey 100%, both are now targetting TP at Red 100%

However the MACD is a major concern to me... its been pretty flat and this worries me somewhat... a major move is bound to happen soon so ill stay out as soon as my GBPUSD shorts take profit at the 100% red fib which is 5270, not going to risk a possible reversal like the one we back in 6/10/2011

Shorts on GBPUSD still doing great... but lots of people got tricked into longing GBPUSD yesterday... had to stay out and say nothing until they get burned today... gosh...

GBPUSD going up on NO news.. that hints a lot about retracement movement from friday... Glad i stayed out yesterday... but hey fibs dont tell lies... didnt enter simply cuz it didnt rise enough to trigger my interest to long...

I haven't read your posts so my comment wasn't directed to you personally. I've been bearish on this pair for a while, but the market is a fickle beast as we all know. If the USDX took out the 50% line yesterday, or we break back up above the Monthly descending TL then I'd be more bullish.

There's a difference between financial forecasting and reaction to analysis and projecting targets. If any of us stated we knew where it was going to go, that would be silly. That's what I was joking about.

Anyway, here's a blowup from my carry chart I posted yesterday with the fib target I'm eying. Best of luck with your trades.

was not so clear this move until it happened.
longs in 54 to 55 were a good trade to pick.
what was not easy was to close longs near 55 and load shorts.
or better...ONLY at the end of the day was more clear price unable to print above 5500 and clearly re-testing previous bearflag to crash more.
