Why would you lift your offer on "better than expected" LTRO news ?
What constitutes as better anyway in this scenario ?
just by looking at bond yields then Italians are creeping up pretty quickly after the news...
Well it seems I wasn't paying attention.
SP500 hit the top of it's range so traders in long sp500 positions are now covering. This will have a negative impact on all risk assets.
As such, my sell limit remains at 1.3210 for now.
As for the implications of a greater than expected LTRO participation, I was going on the premise that banks are now sufficiently recapitalized for now. However, I missed the potential market's perception that the more they take up, the bigger the hidden problems may be. We'll just have to wait and see. For now I still think that the sudden drop after reaching 1.3190 is more technical in nature.

(Although, since it's basically free money i'm sure banks have other intentions with it so their are loading up way more than they need perhaps.)
Then, Add to that a fact that there has been a shitload of short covering across the board including AUD, CAD, GBP and stocks in the last days...and on the back of what ?No sudden change in the euro crisis sentiment picture....
I just wonder if sentiment is this negative to keep the ball rolling or are we gonna start to slowly creep up from here again
