just like Barings Bank went down.. people knew it didnt make sense, but the minds were thinking of profits. because they were sucked into the mindset of easy money, they refused to believe math didnt add up.

sometimes trades are not made on justifications.. justifications are made on trades.

its a game.. and...

Taking losses is part of the game, if you can't take them and close them out quickly and effectively then your not a trader, end of story, sorry!!

There is no room for waiting and hoping, or playing the if I exit here it'll turn back up BS, play the stat's, if exiting is the right thing to do then exit, tes some will turn, most won't and you'll be better off over all for it.

Closing for tiny profits while risking your entire account due to no SL's / exit strategy is also very poor.

Cloggie said it a long time ago and had it right all along, out of 35,000 members on FF only 50 on them are the real deal (sure those #s have changed a bit now but you get the point). There are so many yapping about systems and inides that it confuses the new ones and yes even those trading for a few years that are caught into a bad mindset.

I traded for years before recently unhooking from that mindset. It's hard work, very hard work, money, time, sacrifice and as a wise man recently said, it takes pain. No one really likes pain and that is why many stay away from the truth that few on FF truly understand. I have owned a few business through my time on this earth and they are required something beyond just turning on the lights. Forex requires the same (just realized this recently), it's a business and if all anyone every does to invest in their business is reading and practicing others smoke and mirror tricks, then all they will get is failure.

Attention to detail and working through the pain of a new business is necessary. I have learned that nothing great comes from hoping a system works, I spent way to long holding onto that hope, but I changed and walked away from all that BS. If I feel tempted to look into anything new outside of the charts and PA (like indies or gap trading), I push away, using temptation as the plum line and the consistent truth of past success as my guide.
It's easy to be humbled but hard to be humble.

Haha, now that is funny idea. And a good one, but not viable.

I am theoretical and I dont hide it. I aint pro trader. Yet I study capital markets for five years, so I kinda have some knowledge to share. And I share, in order to learn. This place is incredibly usefull for me, because sometimes people tear my thoughts apart. Well, that actually aint happening that often. And you would like to take it away? Thats not nice.

0,1 lot is a lot for some people. In Czech we have average wage like 1000 bucks per month. And he looks like he is from Mexico. I dont think they have some massive wages in there.

Today was a prime example why so many here are years away from making it, we first had a few dozen pages of muppets anticipating a break in either direction by throwing out silly trade entries in the middle of a range with silly TP's and then when we did move we had pages on WTF and mindless explanations of what just happened.

The issue though is, you can't tell if the people tearing your thoughts apart are any good or not, they could be idiots brain washed with the generic how to lose money BS or Pro traders who are profitable and as pretty much everyone claims to be profitable in a world where we know 98%+ aren't profitable it's kinda hard to pick the real ones out.

Profitable for I think it's 4 months here, but I've been profitable for even 6months in the past before losing my way, so we shall see.

yes you can deff take things away from other traders that work but in the end you take all that info you have pick up from others and on your own to form your own strategy...

like he said you gotta find your own way thats the only thing that will produce long term profits

I'm poor so I'm trading $0.3 - $0.6 ( with average down ) currently so i can dig it, should be upto $1 - $2 by end of Feb all being well and some extra Cash I've got coming end of December

I usually can tell. I am pretty educated guy and if someone tries to tear my posts apart I tend to discuss untill I find the core and either tear him apart or correct my thought. Moreover, not many people are able to discuss with me and when they are, they are usually smarter or more educated. Which is what I seek.

My point is, I am very self confident guy and if there was noone to question my thoughts, I would be running forward untill I hit the wall. Which hurts sometimes, espesially when that wall is SL. Needed to say, I am pretty used to hit the wall in my life. Happens a lot to those, who are too self confident. It is not very often, but it hurts. But you can get used to it.
